I booked a service online for our Captur, but somehow it did not register at Renault Hatfield, so they didn't know I was bringing in the vehicle. Heleen took care of it immediately, and arranged that the car can still be serviced. When she made a mistake with the paperwork, she took full responsibility for it without hesitation. She really made a bad day better. Thank you Heleen

I took my Duster Renault for repair at Renault Hatfield. Later that day I was informed that the warranty is cancelled due to the fact that the 60 000km service was at a non-approved dealership. I asked him what is wrong with the vehicle and he explained that they need to replace the turbo, because oil pushed back into it and that it will cost +/-R45 000.00. Reasons for taking my vehicle to the non-approved dealership is that I know a qualified mechanic will service my vehicle; I was very busy during that time and were leaving for vacation and I knew if I do not service my vehicle urgently it will be more than 2000km past the 60 000km when returning from holiday; I was under the impression that it would not be a problem, because my vehicle is not on the service plan anymore. When taking your vehicle to an approved dealership you are not guarantee that only a fully qualified mechanic will work on your vehicle. The service thereafter was done at Renault Hatfield as all the others. Previous experience with Renault Hatfield - September 2018 I took the Duster to Renault Hatfield so they can repair the loose roof lining, which they did. Long after that I saw the parts where the sun visors clip on came loose from the roof. I took the car and spoke to one of the managers and explained to him that the reason for this was when the roof was fixed by them, their technician who worked on my vehicle broke these clips (I have proof and photos) while trying to get it off in the process to fix the roof and just clue it back instead of replacing it. This by an approved dealership, Renault Hatfield who worked on my vehicle. I decided to take my vehicle to Turboworks for a diagnostic test on the 11th March 2019. They replaced the O-ring on boost pipe and clean the MAF sensor. In total it cost me for the diagnostic and what they did only R690, instead of R45000! On further investigation they discovered that the main problem was the air flow meter, which will cost about R8000.00 and not R45000. Now you can see what I think about approved dealerships and the part where motor companies force you to service your vehicle with an approved dealership. Renault Hatfield who is a supposed approved dealership 1st broke the sun visor clips then clue it on instead of replacing it with new ones and then they want to replace the turbo by giving me incorrect information to convince me. This is the approved dealership I must trust with my car. Renault Hatfield just say it is not their problem but Renault SA’s problem and Renault SA does not even take the time to reply on my correspondence. Renault Hatfield will never see me again….!!!

Would prefer a zero for the 2 white lady service advisors at Renault Hatfield. I rather go through the trouble of driving to wonderwaters and deal with Leanne the service advisor for Renault wonderwaters than to ever step into the office of the two ladies in Hatfield. Just thinking of having to go to deal Renault hatfield service advisors (which is my closest Renault where I work) causes me distress.
