I have been a loyal Renault customer for years, but my recent experience has exposed the brand for what it truly is: deceptive, *****ulent , and lacking all sense of customer responsibility.
My vehicle warranty was valid until 5 March 2025. I submitted a claim on 28 February 2025 for a faulty headlamp—well within the warranty period. This issue had been ongoing, and the dealership had been in contact with the Motus Warranty Department to process the claim. What followed was a series of deliberate delays, back-and-forth communication, and zero urgency from renault head office.
Once the warranty period expired, Motus conveniently declined the claim, despite the job card being opened on time. This was a calculated move to stall until the warranty lapsed and then dodge responsibility.
This is *****ulent and unacceptable. Renault and Motus have shown complete disregard for their customers. They mislead buyers with promises of warranty protection, only to pull the rug out when it matters most.
If you’re considering buying a Renault—don’t. You’ll be left frustrated, unheard, and out of pocket. Their warranty means nothing, and their customer service is non-existent.
