I have a Renault Captur and had it for 3 years, I took my car to Renault i Paarden eiland which is now called Motus select, however every time I take my car for a service, when I get the car back i get errors on my car, check auto gearbox, the car goes into lymph mode and just switches off, when i call them they say its just the box that they forgot to resent that causes this as its an electronic box, however if its so simple why don't do this?? the QC is terrible because this always occurred,
When I also take my car In they call me to give me a quote because tyhey dont check their system, the last time I went was last year Oct 2023 again they told me no service plan, and called to say sorry they didn't see, why is this such poor service.
When I took my car i collected it and again, check auto gearbox, check anti pollution system and all the other errors kept appearing, this was becoming an issue and this time the car would not start again, they checked it out and said its the gearbox. I dont understand every time my car went in no issues wi8th the gearbox but now it just needs to be replaced and the quote came in at R153 000, wow they told me I dont have a warranty plan, however once again I had one, the warranty plan paid R9000 and I had to pay the difference, I asked for a breakdown of the quote and no one responded when I asked for this, I asked for a diagnostic report, so I could get a second opinion and still no response, I included management and no response its been 3 months now , i collected my car and got a a second opinion, however it was not the gearbox, just some speed sensors that was causing this issue., Till today its been almost 3 months and still no response about the breakdown quote so I can see how they got to the R153 000, I have taken them to ombudsman and laid a case as this is not the first time or second time the service of checking the car is so bad and inconvenience me, I got stuck numerous times at night on a dangerous spot which put my life in danger, Renault service has been so bad, and all i wanted was a response but that was to hard for the management team to do..
