STAY AWAY FROM RENPROP MANHATTAN
I moved into Manhattan Apartments in Sunninghill in 2023. I decided not to renew my lease in September 2025 due to ongoing issues with roaches.
When I moved out, they refused to refund my deposit of R9,000, claiming that one of the rooms was dirty and that the deposit would be used for painting. R9K for painting????.
I requested a detailed breakdown of the costs, but they refused to provide one. Ohh not to forget how rude AMY KEATLEY is on the emails!!!
PLEASE DONT EVER SIGN A LEASE WITH THIS PROPERTY COMPANY!!! RUNNNNN!!

Deposit deductions are assessed in line with the signed lease agreement and are based on the final inspection, which distinguishes between fair wear and tear and tenant-related items. Where painting or cleaning is required beyond fair wear and tear, costs are calculated according to the scope of work needed for the unit, not a single room in isolation. All deductions are supported by inspection reports and contractor invoices.
With regard to communication, we take concerns about professionalism seriously. While we stand by the conduct of our team, we regret if any correspondence was perceived as rude and will review this internally.
