What a bunch of ****mers!!! I rented a place managed by them in Randburg for three years- worst mistake ever. They literally took my entire deposit money even after I cleaned and made sure to fix the place before moving out. The bathroom of the place I was renting has no ventilation, there's literally no air coming into the bathroom, that's an architectural problem in the complex and yet I'm being made to pay over R3000 for them to fix the mould- mould that is a result of bad architecture. The inspection that happened when I moved in vs when I moved out are completely different. These people are horrible at communicating, emails are ignored and yet they're quick to take people's monies. They charging over R1000 to inspect a one bedroom apartment???

I am yet to come across a useless company like Renprop, which bought my house last year and I have been having issues which they never bothered to resolve, one was a male neighbour who almost attacked me in front of security after I called security because he was making noise I reported the matter to them even security gave them a report but they never even gave him a warning in a world where GBP and genocide is so high they never bothered to attend to my issue I had to call my dad who is a cop to get involved if it wasn’t for that I would still feel unsafe in this place because this man abused me emotionally in front of security and wanted to attack me but security blocked him bear in mind I stay alone with my toddler, companies like Renprop are disgusting because how many women reported such matters and no action was taken? I have another issue with broken pipe outside my house, as a result water gets stuck literally outside my door, I have moist issue and I have to deal with bugs all the time I have reported this issue last year they never bothered to come inspect the issue, even when it’s raining water just gets stuck I have sent more than four with with no reply. Renprop do better and if you don’t resolve my issue I will take all these matters forward because I am sick and tired of getting government service from a private company that I am paying.

Renprop share my personal details to an email address that i don't know, it's my flat number etc, i have informed Aubrey for months not to send my personal details to people i don't know but it fall on deaf ears, please remove the yahoo email when sending my monthly statement

I moved into Manhattan Apartments in Sunninghill in 2023. I decided not to renew my lease in September 2025 due to ongoing issues with roaches. When I moved out, they refused to refund my deposit of R9,000, claiming that one of the rooms was dirty and that the deposit would be used for painting. R9K for painting????. I requested a detailed breakdown of the costs, but they refused to provide one. Ohh not to forget how rude AMY KEATLEY is on the emails!!! PLEASE DONT EVER SIGN A LEASE WITH THIS PROPERTY COMPANY!!! RUNNNNN!!

I am deeply disappointed by how Manhattan Renprop Management has handled a serious security breach involving tenants who trespassed into our private garden/balcony space by jumping over our wall after we explicitly told them not to. We reported this incident immediately, providing photo evidence, yet the response from both the Estate Manager (Philile Ntombela) and Lease Manager (Lynette Ley) was completely dismissive. Philile confirmed that the tenants admitted to jumping the wall but said she “can’t do much” and did not ask for an incident report from the security or take disciplinary action. She also insisted that “the cameras are adequate,” even though the area is a blind spot with no CCTV coverage precisely where the trespassing occurred. When I escalated the issue by emailing Lynette Ley, I received the following response: “Your email has been received and noted… we are not able to substantiate your claim and therefore will not be relocating the tenant… You do however have the right, in terms of clause 19 of your lease agreement, to cancel your lease with penalties.” After receiving this dismissive reply, I called Lynette for clarity and that’s when she became rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to listen. She said “it’s not her problem that we don’t get along with our neighbours” (whom we don’t even know), dropped the call, and even claimed she “doesn’t work with” the estate manager despite both working under Renprop and managing the same complex. Instead of addressing a clear security and trespassing incident, Lynette’s only “solution” was to tell us we could cancel our lease if we were unhappy. This was especially shocking given that we just renewed our lease with Renprop this year and have never caused a single problem, always paying rent on time and maintaining our unit responsibly. Renprop’s handling of this matter shows a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and concern for tenant safety. We now feel unsafe in our own home, yet management refuses to take any meaningful action. If you value security, respect, and ethical property management, I strongly advise that you do not rent from Renprop. Their actions clearly show that tenant safety and wellbeing are their least concern.

I posted previously about Renprop. I want to make another post about just how bad they treat their tenants. Please DO NOT STAY at any property managed by Renprop. In my previous post I mentioned issues with the B&B guests, the noise they make and the lack of response from Renprop themselves. They do not have any standard when they manage their properties. They keep tenants and B&B guests extremely close to each other, the apartments above and below me are B&B's. Over the past few weeks the noise has been escalating. After the multiple mails sent to Renprop and RECORDINGS I've sent through they've responded saying that there is nothing they can do unless the guards have heard the noise themselves, despite literal RECORDINGS. They also have different agreements with B&B guests which prevent them from taking action against them. On top of all of this, they've also informed me that I can not complain about about guests above me dragging furniture or stomping on the ground till all hours of the morning. PLEASE SAVE yourselves the headache and DO NOT rent any of their properties they are absolutely pathetic.

I wish this company could be invested cause there's no way all of us have the same complaints. They do not want topsy-turvy back people's deposits and it looks very ***** and it's a ****. I will never recommend anyone to rent where these people manages cause you will never get your money back.

Most pathetic management company I've ever seen. Please do not, I repeat DO NOT stay at any property managed by these people. We're staying at The View Morningside for close to 2 years now. Our apartment is on the second last floor, no one at Renprop disclosed that the apartments above and below ours are B&B's. I understand they're not obligated, however, I have been dealing with the worst noise I've ever experienced before in my life and this is over many years of staying in apartments. I've notified them on multiple occasions, they do not have a policy of helping tenants. On the last incident they've just flatout been ignoring me and any of my mails/complaints - I look forward to issues with my deposit once we vacate after our lease expires.

On the last incident they've just flatout been ignoring me and any of my mails/complaints - I look forward to issues with my deposit once we vacate after our lease expires.
