Avoid at all costs.
I would avoid using Kings estates. The estate agent we worked with was very condescending, telling me he didn’t have to deal with my negativity when we had concerns about the property being burgled the day we signed the papers and calling me verbally abusive when I told him his conduct was unprofessional as he wan’t being transparent. Not to mention I was screamed at over the phone and he put the phone down in my ear.

I would avoid using Kings estates. Kings Estates - Parktown North - Rental Property - 32 11th avenue -Landlord steals deposits
Marketed through Kings Estates Parktown North, Property for Rental based at - 32 11th avenue - The landlord Neil Smith and his ex-wife Samantha Smuts trading as Northern Century Property Investments cc do not pay your deposits back. They owe us R27500 + interest + legal fees which the contract makes provision for.Its been two months and we have had to go legal and issue summons. This happened to us and the previous tenant who took 8 months to get his deposit back. After contacting Kings Estates, based in Parktown North , who still markets the property-Andrew King, I quote - says that "they are not liable for landlords they manage." I was flabbergasted at this response , they take their small fee and don't get involved further with the landlord or tenant. As a consumer we need to warn all consumers of both landlord and property agent Kings Estates (related to this property), represented by Sarah West , a Kings Estates rental agent. They will not help you with this landlord if you experience the ordeal that we have over the past 18 months. We tried through Sarah West and the Kings Estates agent office 29 7th avenue, Parktown North. If you rent this property after reading this, you have yourself to blame.
