Bought a Restonic bed from Sleepmasters in December, 12 days later the base broke...took them more a month to replace it. Was refused a refund or even a replacement bed but the store manager at N1 city refused even though Sleepmaster head office said we should get a refund. eventually in Jan we got a replacement, a week later this NEW bed started sagging. Feet of the base had to be removed because the base started making sounds. Logged a call again requesting a refund because paying thousands of rands for a bed that has a 10year warranty broke in 12 days! Will NEVER recommend Sleepmastr or Restonic to anyone

we bought a bed through sleepmasters in Dec 2025 and 12 days later the bed broke. we then waited 5 weeks to have it replaced. when we had it replaced a day later the bed started making cracking sounds and we had to remove the legs just so we could sleep on it without the fear it breaking further. The replacement bed is not even 2 months old but its sagging so badly it feels like we've had this bed for 10 years

I am beyond angry and deeply disappointed with both Sleepmasters and Restonic regarding this purchase. I ordered a Restonic bed set (Order #: 200128880). Delivery was not the issue. The problem is the shocking quality of the actual bed set. How is it even possible that a brand-new mattress is already sagging it’s not even a month old? Certain areas feel like I’m sleeping on concrete, while other parts have dipped. On top of that, the noise it makes every time I move is absolutely unacceptable. This is not what anyone expects when spending their hard-earned money on what is supposed to be a quality product. I did not pay for a defective, uncomfortable, noisy mattress. I paid for a proper bed set and what I received feels substandard and poorly made. It is honestly disgraceful that a product in this condition is being sold to customers. I need someone to contact me urgently to resolve this matter. If this is not addressed immediately, I will have no choice but to escalate this further and share my experience publicly.

My parents bought a bed August/Sep 2025. They were not happy with the mattress and ofcourse they informed Restonic about this. Restonic then asked them to take a picture, and a video of the bed in December 2025 together with the receipt. They called my father and said they would do a follow up in January 2026 but nothing yet. I don't understand why it's taking so long for them to respond. Their customer service is not good at all!

Unfortunately this is not the positive review I was hoping to bring as an update. I got a call from Restonic on the 22/01/2026, informing me that my complaint was seen and that I would be assisted with getting a new mattress to replace the sagging one I STILL CURRENTLY HAVE. I was told that my request would be approved for a new mattress and that I should expect a call from OK Furniture (where l bought the bed) by 28/01/2026. I did not receive such communication from the store so l decided to go to the store to check what as happening on 31/01/2026, where I was told that they could not give me a new mattress because Restonic has not approved anything regarding my complaint. It’s unfortunate that we have to resort to such measures to get assistance for basic customer service. I am still stuck with a sagging bed and no communication whatsoever from Restonic.

Following my original review, Restonic responded with a standard explanation of their warranty process, again emphasising the requirement for a mattress to be in a “clean and sanitary condition” and advising customers to purchase a mattress protector. Magdalene Pelo and Matshomane Malebana you have zero customer care DNA, What remains concerning is that a mattress protector was in fact purchased at the time of sale, which is reflected on the original invoice. This was not acknowledged or addressed in their response. Instead, the reply reiterates a blanket policy without engaging with the actual defect reported. The core issue is structural failure — noticeable side bulging and sagging — not surface marks. A mattress can fail structurally regardless of cosmetic condition, and refusing to assess such a defect solely on appearance feels like a convenient way to avoid accountability rather than a genuine attempt to assist a customer. While the response speaks about quality standards and after-sales support, the practical outcome is still a refusal to properly assess a clearly failing product. Unfortunately, this reinforces my original concern: that the warranty process prioritises exclusions over resolution. Based on this experience, I remain disappointed in both the product durability and the after-sales handling, and my view remains unchanged.

We purchased a Restonic mattress about five years ago, fully expecting it to last significantly longer given the brand’s reputation and price point. Unfortunately, the mattress has developed noticeable sagging and bulging on the sides, resulting in poor support and discomfort. This is clearly a structural failure, not normal wear and tear. When we initially approached Restonic, the issue was dismissed on the basis that there were stains on the mattress, and therefore no exchange or assistance would be considered — despite the problem being structural and unrelated to surface marks. The warranty requirement that the mattress must be in “clean condition” to even assess a claim feels like a convenient loophole to avoid standing behind build quality. After posting my initial review, Restonic responded publicly stating that I would be contacted so the complaint could be investigated. No follow-up, communication, or feedback was ever received after that response. For a product intended to support your body for years, both the durability of the mattress and the after-sales support have fallen well short of expectations. A public acknowledgement without any actual resolution only reinforces that concern. Based on my experience, I would think very carefully before investing in this brand.
