I had three SQT treatments done at the Revive Wellness Spa. The day after my 3rd treatment my face started to bruise and turned purple on the left and right sides of my face. My skin then started to scab, it became very inflamed, sore and painful to the point where I was considering seeking medical treatment. I contacted the the****** to asked her if this was normal and sent her pictures of my face. She responded that it was normal and that the burning sunburn sensation was also normal as this was my 3rd session and the effects will be more intense. I contacted the the****** again that evening and sent her pictures as my skin had worsened to the point where matter started to come out. The the****** once again said to me that this was normal and different skins reacted differently to the treatment. I have the voice recordings and messages from the the******. My skin is now scared after the SQT treatment. I contacted the Manager at Revive Wellness Spa and had a meeting with her. The Manager asked me what amount I wanted in compensation and I informed her that I wasn't looking for compensation, that all I wanted was for the scar on my face to be gone and not to have an ongoing problem trying to manage this. The Manager stated that this was my face and no value could be placed on this, she further stated that the the****** had overworked my skin and that all their the******s received full training so this situation should not have happened. The Manager advised me that they will do bi-weekly sessions on my skin for the next few months, and hopefully by summer my skin would be healed. After my first treatment session for the scar, the the****** advised me that instead of weekly sessions they recommended sessions every 21 days. After only three sessions from Revive Wellness Spa, the the****** informed me last week that the next session will be my last as per her instructions from Management. She further stated that it was due to my negligence that this happened and said I needed to purchase expensive products, including melanin inhibitors to manage the scarring going forward. I was very surprised by her message and asked her to have her Management contact me as this contradicted what her Manager had stated to me. The Manager has not contacted me, and to my further surprise, the the****** has blocked me.
