I wish I had read these reviews before falling for this scam. We also purchased a laptop online and no delivery happened. Now there is no answer on any line. They have literally disappeared. They have a professional and legitimate website and they answer calls when you are first purchasing a laptop. Everything seems to check out until you wait for delivery. There is a lady named Monica and some other guy we dealt with who all talk the talk. I do wish there was some way of catching these people

Robotics World scam
I've bought a camera from Robotics World in Western Cape on 22/11/2020 and they promise delivery but nothing yet. First they said that they reverse my payment on 23/11 because the delivery is a problem and after that the payment never came back because they didn't have my bank details. The one guy is Desmond on this nubmer 0218139988 and Monica Ryley on 0640830611and 0839441166. The website www.roboticsworld.co.zalook legit and I've lost R12k. How can we stop these people from stealing other people's money?

Electronics Scam
This is a scam, advertising on Junkmail and potentially elsewhere. They send an email after you have shown interest in their products with a very legitimate blurb and a link to a website which then comes up looking very professional. You pay, they promise to deliver and then string you along, saying the driver will be there in 3 hours, they've had logistical problems, so sorry etc etc. Nothing arrives and no-one answers the phone anymore. There are at least 3 people involved; one is Muslim, as the WhatsApp status refers to Allah and the other is a North African gentleman called Desmond; the third is a lady (may or may not actually exist) called Monica Ngubani. Do not be conned like I was. I lost over 12k to them.
