The screen repair warranty is a farce! Shortly after repair, my screen flapped and the touch function on the screen was faulty. The screen protector was much smaller than the actual screen (providing minimal to no protection). Even though I was well within the warranty period, the guy was hostile, dishonest and expected me to provide a 50% top up payment. The agreement to repair only took place after a prolonged back and forth and determining that there were NO terms and conditions provided (per his initial indication) excluding the repair. Safe to say that I will not be using their service again. 1 star is far too generous.

You’ll have noticed that as smart phones get smaller our fingers get wider? So I tried to resurrect my old LARGE I-Pad which hadn’t been used in a very long time and was dead flat. Took it to the “All Things Apple Experts “ who declared it not only ‘dead flat’ but “dead” declaring that a new battery (R800) MIGHT restore life but doubted it. So I didn’t bother. Instead I took it into a small shop in Fields Shopping centre (Kloof KZN) where the chap had sold me a power cable for it the previous day without seeing the device and who move immediately declared the cable to be wrong for the pad and swapped it (without charge) for another and suggested I leave it on charge for 24 hours. I did and guess what?! It’s back as good as new. My advice ? If you’re having internet /phone Problems don’t rush to the “experts” - they may not be - pop into Cell Cafe…..you may be pleasantly surprised. I-Pleased

It's taken Cell C 8 months to stop emailing scripted mails and finally call. Not to my suprise even the call was defensive and with no intention to resolve my complaint. I'm not writing a review for a response from Cell C but rather to make the public aware of what they in for if they select Cell Cell as a "lack of" service provider.

This business situated close to Pick and Pay in the Rosebank Mall are fraudsters! I have had a few devices fixed there - paying amounts of R3500 to fix an iPad screen. A month down the line the iPad screen went white and the home button "fell in" after a month's use only. This iPad's screen was absolutely shattered before they fixed it but worked anyway. How is it possible that after this apparently "Apple" screen was used to fix it, it suddenly went white? I work with iPads a LOT and there is absolutely NO WAY that a screen goes white for no reason and definitely not because of usage. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS!!!!! When I went back for them to fix it, I was told that we "broke" it and they will not be able to fix it again. Now I sit with an iPad that THEY have ruined and there is absolutely nothing I can do.
