Good morning,
Ive stayed quiet on this topic to avoid talking or getting personal against Tessa after my dismissal.
This if for clients who care about the person working with there dog.
Unfortunately I've come to be informed that I was accused of causing damage to the company, after giving them equipment from my own home, donating betadine and vinegar and Ive helped her alot personally.
Tessa does have a tendency to get hard handed with dogs that don't like being groomed, and loses her temper quickly unfortunately, I've witnessed it first hand, multiple times.
A week or few before I was dismissed, me and Tessa where what I would interpret as friends, and one day I was met with Tessa saying we aren't friends, we are acquaintances and she wanted to make things purely professional between us.
But let me ask you this, how do you want a professional relationship with your assistant, but your prone to get personal with clients, what am I supposed to do? When she gets personal and I was told to stay professional, so I pulled back completely.
When we where friends (from my perspective) at the beginning, we fought 90% less than at the end, the disagreements we had where over serious situations and in the end we fought over childish ****, and I mainly got irritated and quiet when Tessa in my last few days, had the habit of making slimy comments as I work, making me feel horrible and as said, very irritated.
I'm not going to go into excruciating detail, or the extremely personal and private things we discussed (which makes me question even more why we "weren't friends")
It hurts me to say, after being a very loyal customer for years, then being offered a job and taking it, staying loyal, trusting her and then have everything turn a 360 with her denouncing our friendship, acting snappy and unhappy towards me after not being happy with what she asked for, and then being dismissed over WhatsApp, not face to face, no proper warnings or anything. And what hurts the most, is when we had our very first fight, I explicitly asked for a contract that outlines how she would like me to be, and the responsibilities I would have to complete. At the time of my dismissal, I haven't seen the contract 3 months into working for her.
I know alot of clients think she can't do anything wrong, but please ask yourself this, I was a client as mentioned, for 3+ years before I started working for Tessa. I thought the same, but remember, there's more than one size to a coin.
