Deceiving advertising, I have not been able to establish contact details either.
On 17/07/2024, I ordered a handbag that was advertised as leather, and I paid a fortune for it. When I received the handbag, is is not leather at all, but rather cheap plastic. I should have returned it at the time but I was travelling and just didn't get around to it. I have screenshots if you want it

100% CLOTHING ****!
Instagram is full of adverts for these **** clothing sites, all seemingly run by the same company registered in the Netherlands. All sites are called "Something" Cape Town, implying its Cape Town connected but there is none. But this is not the problem. The problem is it's an online **** with CHEAP KNOCK OFFS MADE IN CHINA which do not resemble the products advertised at all. And if you want to return it - YOU PAY TO SEND BACK TO CHINA. Some of these sites now have a notice saying you pay for returns, but again, this is not the issue. It's that they are grossly misrepresenting what they are selling. Its ****, cheap ******* and not the well made items they are displaying and charging up-market prices for. It is a 100% *******. The sites include the following names+Cape Town eg: Rosewood Cape Town; Naomari-, Dapper, Essencia, Jemi, Louvelly, Luna, Luyanda, Marzani, Nova, Novi, Shakira, Trendy-, Uniq, Victoria and many more. These sites all have similar features: - A ''location" in Cape Town eg: Long Street, with shop hours, implying there is a store. There isn't a store. Some sites now have a sign saying ''store coming soon". - **** reviews - scroll across the sites and the same reviews and names come up, telling you how awesome the clothes are. They really aren't. - Always on sale; sale ending tonight! and LOW STOCK!! - The same wording for shipping and return policies. - And references to luxury fabrics and craftmanship - this is the biggest lie of all. My sweaters are mass produced cheap junk with no labels, loose threads, and a chemical smell. I have the sweaters and the website screenshots as proof of the 100% total misrepresentation. I got into a whole email exchange with them where they defended the return policy and the Cape Town references ("we are an exclusively online store, we didn't intend to mislead) etc etc - while totally ignoring the fact they are SELLING CHEAP KNOCK OFFS. I have reported to Instagram and to the commercial platforms they use. I have also briefed a lawyer to investigate. However the advertising on Instagram is relentless and unfortunately many people are being caught out and ********** by this dishonesty. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

they should not be allowed to trade!!
Please, please, please do not use this company.......I should have checked here before I did an online purchase.......Had to fight to get my goods which are so cheaply and badly made with different sizes!! No way to speak to them and no address to visit them....!!

Rosewood Cape Town is a ****! Don't buy their clothes.
****! Had to cancel my cc because they kept on taking additional fees off - small amounts after charging me an exorbitant R4500 for a jersey, 2 of the SAME shirts, and an undercoat. Such bad quality and sizes as suggested by them are 3 sizes too small. R4500 down the drain. Don't touch them! I had to give everything I bought away. Photos or photoshopped!

****! Had to cancel my cc because they kept on taking additional fees off - small amounts after charging me an exorbitant R4500 for a jersey, 2 of the SAME shirts, and an undercoat. Such bad quality and sizes as suggested by them are 3 sizes too small. R4500 down the drain. Don't touch them! I had to give everything I bought away. Photos or photoshopped!

ROSEWOOD CAPE TOWN IS A ****
DISHONEST AND *****ULENT. Claims to be South African but poorest quality goods straight from China at ridiculously high prices. They have no shop in SA as claimed on website, shipping is straight from China and returns also straight to China at your own cost, which in my case the quote is R5500!!

DISHONEST AND *****ULENT. Claims to be South African but poorest quality goods straight from China at ridiculously high prices. They have no shop in SA as claimed on website, shipping is straight from China and returns also straight to China at your own cost, which in my case the quote is R5500!!

Dishonest advertising. Claim to have a shop in Long St , CT. In asking for street number, they inform you they’re only online. I ordered a “ luxurious, high quality” jersey for approximately R900. Waited for over a month to receive a thin , polyester top with built in white collar, cuffs and hem add on- NOTHING resembling the upmarket looking pul***** in the advert. If I want to return the item, I must post to China! Very disappointed.
