I have been on holiday at Timeshare Resorts over the last 20 years, in KZN, Gauteng and Cape Town but my current experience at Royal Atlantic Hotel equals or even surpasses the best of my holiday experiences This resort is close to the Seapoint Strand/ Fores**** where hundreds of walkers and runners are on the promenade. Royal Atlantic is in the relatively quiet Marais Road. Royal Atlantic is quiet and peaceful place to spend a restful few days or week. The staff, including those at reception are warm and helpful at all times. The Manager Chris Erasmus is skilled and obviously generates a high standard at all times. The general care and neatness of the hotel is exceptional. The unit we occupied was incomparable to my other holiday venues, in my view. The rooms were neat and clean with attention given to detail.Much has been spent on aesthetics in the hotel generally and in the unit to enhance the ambiance of the place.Everything one needs is there, and everything works ( unlike some of the highly graded places we've been to) The cleaning staff do a wonderful job of keeping the unit warm and welcome. Although we do not have young children, the hotel caters more than adequately for children with a lovely games room and a putt putt course.A covered pool adds to the appeal of the Royal Atlantic. I would strongly recommend timeshare holidaymakers and others to look into Royal Atlantic.l was a little concerned when l booked as l had never been there and was not quite sure as to what to expect.l was overwhelmed by the excellence, hence my review. I will certainly revisit Royal Atlantic for a memorable holiday in the future.

What a horrific experience to be treated by the Hotel staff, more especially the name of the manager Faiqah, I am terribly disappointed how inhumane she was, with no respect whatsoever more especially for someone who came to Cape Town for Holidays to have a great experience, very disappointing.

I am utterly appalled by the treatment my family endured at The Royal Atlantic resort, courtesy of both the receptionists and the manager. Despite meticulously adhering to occupancy limits and clearly explaining our situation, we were callously denied entry. The manager's openly hostile demeanor, described in his own words as "abrupt," coupled with the unwarranted threat to report and ban my husband, is nothing short of disgraceful. This egregious display of unprofessionalism not only tarnished what should have been a delightful evening but also took place in front of my distraught 4-year-old daughter, who was left in tears. Furthermore, the initial interaction at check-in, where a simple inquiry about the duration of the process was met with a disrespectful retort from the receptionist saying “it depends how long you talk for” just exemplifies the pervasive lack of professionalism and courtesy at your establishment. Such behavior is utterly intolerable and demands immediate redressal.

This is a great self catering hotel. Location perfect close to the beach and plenty of restaurants close by. Hotel is very clean and staff is very friendly. Loadshedding back up lights , warm indoor pool and activities for kids . Checked in 8 Dec - 15 Dec 23. I had a friend who was staying close by and was refused entry into the hotel even though they were day visitors other than that i would recommend it to friends and family. We had welcome drinks and meet and greet refreshments were served.Keep up the good work. Thanks to everyone at Royal Atlantic.

Firstly the receptionist Faiqah Sulaiman and her husband the manager have no way to address people of colour! When we got there her attitude was horrible the way she addressed. We were over crowded in our room for less than an hour because we were helping my sister carry down her bags and food. Faiqah then proceeded to assume that 9 people slept in the room and attacked us over the phone not allowing us to explain that 9 people never slept there. When we asked to speak to the manager he dismissed everything I said about how she addressed us and advised we must take it up with Holiday Club! This is not a holiday club issue, it’s about how people are spoken too especially people of colour by the receptionist! Nothing will get done because the manager is her husband

Nothing wrong with the facility !! I need to make a booking for one additional night after a Midweek booking through Holiday Club. This needs to be done at the Hotel itself. Nobody answers their phone. NOBODY!! Tried about 5 times during day, early, late and in between. The phone just keeps on ringing and the phone number supplied is correct as per their Web as well as confirmed through True-Caller. I need urgent help!!

sadly a family vacation turned nasty with a huge loss of my 18 year old priceless wedding ring stolen out of my locked hotel room by one of the cleaners, leaving a devastating feeling of despair and not of relaxation as it should be.

We will never return to this hotel and since the management took 5 months to handle our loss by sending this poor message from their insurers Hollard "We write as the public liability insurers of Royal Atlantic Body Corporate who have reported to us a claim for the loss of a ring on 22 February 2017.

Considering the facts we have on our file we are satisfied that there is no legal liability on our insured to compensate you for any alleged loss and your claim is accordingly rejected. We draw your attention to the indemnity form signed when booking in at the resort".

be alert that when you sign the document that you have accepted your room key your stuff is open season to whomever is cleaning!
