Payment scam or fraudulant contractor?
<p>Herman O'Kennedy of Royal Crete seems to concurrently start a job when he gets the 50% deposit. He then does a bit of flooring until he can get the next payment. Then he starts lying about not getting stock, broken vehicle etc. etc. and doesn't finish the job. Unfortunately the work that he has done is also a mess as he most definately can not do seemless flooring. Giving himself out as a contractor for this product seems fraudulant. I've lost a lot of money due to this man and his "company".</p>

08 Feb 2017, 15:41He has been promising and promising to come and finish the job. But everytime very convincingly give you a sad story and a lot of lies. Today he again said he will be on site tomorrow. I told him to phone me when he is there as he repeatedly does not pitch and waste my time. I will update this post as it progresses.

10 Feb 2017, 09:50As I expected: at 10h00 I sent him a whatsapp confirming that he is not on site yet. He answered that he told me he will be there later, on which I responded that he did not say later, but tomorrow. So, I asked him if he is there "later" to phone me. Never happened.
He now committed to pay back about 1/3 of the payments. I gave him until 14h00 today. Lets see if he actually does this.

15 Feb 2017, 07:30He once again promised the police officer who contacted him that he will be on site today. He does not answer my communication and has not arranged to be on site. Still no return of monies not due to him. I am publishing this so that he hopefully does not scam anyone else...

04 Mar 2017, 09:18I've Instructed my bank to reverse the double payment. It came back: Insufficient funds. He has still not completed the floors. More and more cracks on the part that he has tried to do. Kitchen floor lifting up. Got a quote now to fix his mess. Floors will have to be mostly removed, redone and then a new topping on it all.... With the money that Herman O'kennedy got for his "job" this is costing me more than double... I see that he is also now advertising under H&H cement flooring since I have listed Royal Crete.
