My worst experience with a service provider ever! Today marks 4 MONTHS since I paid in full, on the same day that I received a quote, for the refurbishment (sand-off and re-oil) of my garage door. R5800 paid and I have received NO SERVICE. RSD has not even attempted to deliver the service. Numerous follow-ups, requests for refund etc. with no response. Be warned... MASSIVE ****. Both the owner and the admin personnel just keep on asking for me to reshare the quote and Proof of Payment with them. No matter how many time you share with them, they go quiet. DO NOT Fall for the "so called" 5 star reviews on Google. This company seems to also be linked to nationalgaragedoors.co.za and fixpoolspecialists.co.za

Very bad experience with RSD – do not recommend Communication: ★☆☆☆☆ Work quality: ★★☆☆☆ Trustworthiness: ☆☆☆☆☆ I had a very poor experience with RSD and feel it’s important to warn others. I first contacted RSD on 27 October 2025. They inspected my gate motor and advised that it needed reconditioning, which they said would be completed the next day for R3,800. For an entire week, I was told daily that the motor would be ready “today” or “tomorrow”. I made multiple arrangements to have someone at home based on these promises. The motor was only returned a week later, in November. The problems did not end there. After installation, the gate moved very slowly, and within the same week it showed drive fault / motor fault errors. The issue kept getting worse. I contacted RSD again at the end of November. After nearly two weeks of repeatedly following up, they eventually collected the motor on 10 December 2025. As of today, 21 January 2026, I still have not received my motor back. I have contacted RSD dozens of times. The receptionist repeatedly says she will “post in the technician group”, but there is no follow-up, no feedback, and no resolution. Yesterday, I was told by the receptionist that the boss says the motor cannot be fixed and that I must buy a new one — after already paying R3,800 to RSD for reconditioning. This experience shows: Repeated broken promises Extremely poor communication No accountability for work paid for No meaningful after-sales support Based on my experience, I would not recommend RSD. Please be very careful before using their services.

Unfortunately, another company interfered with this job in an extremely unprofessional manner. This company did not confirm attendance, yet arrived and misrepresented themselves as our company, falsely telling the client that we were “closed down.” This is completely *********, misleading, and unacceptable business practice. Impersonating another company and providing false information to secure work shows a serious lack of integrity. We believe clients deserve honesty and transparency when choosing a service provider. The ower even mentioned that she only opened as they said it's Global doors! We strongly advise anyone considering this company to do proper research before engaging with them.

Logged a call for repair to my sectional garage door. I was greeted by friendly sales staff who made short work of getting a technician to me in the same day. The technicians were very accommodating and knew what they were doing. Their pricing is fair and i had no problem paying for the exceptional service i received. Definitely one of the better garage repair companies and i will definitely be using them again.

I arranged for RSD (SA Garage Doors) to quote on my elderly mother’s roll-up garage doors as they needed servicing. A technician phoned me from site and quoted R3,000.00 to service the doors and to replace a still working but old motherboard. To which I agreed. When I arrived on site I discovered that not much was done and there was no evidence of the old motherboard. I contacted RSD office and I told them that the invoice does not mention a motherboard and there is no evidence of my old motherboard being replaced. I asked them to replace the “newly replaced” motherboard once more as they say that my old working motherboard was thrown away. They have not offered a solution to this problem.

(Actual business name is RDS Roller Shutter Doors) Absolutely disguised in the service from this company. I paid a deposit to get a cover made for my roller shutter door, only for them to NEVER arrive to complete the work. All attempts at communication has been ignored and if they answer their phones ...They have "Bad signal" and turn their phone off!

I would like to inform the public on this company who are situated at 105 Main Road, Newlands. The staff ***** new parts and replace with your old. Most jobs are not visible as they are in casings. The after sales service doesn`t exist. I paid R8500 for a complete gear set installed in November 2024. The door started giving problems as few weeks back, I eventually got them to come out and check and only to find out when they opened the casing that they had installed my old gear set and not a new one. They are not trustworthy and there workmanship is poor. When I wanted to speak to the owner I was informed that he doesn`t talk to clients. I will have to go the legal route as no joy with the admin staff.
