Beware of SA Domain – Unreliable & Unprofessional Registrar

I had an extremely disappointing experience with SA Domain (Tixibiz PTY Ltd) regarding the purchase of a domain name. Despite paying for mediflowai.co.za on March 7, 2025, and receiving an invoice confirming my ownership, I later discovered that a third-party service (B12.io) claims the domain is already taken—preventing me from using it.

Key Issues with SA Domain: ❌ Possible Resale of a Previously Claimed Domain – I purchased the domain in good faith, yet SA Domain refuses to confirm my ownership in writing, raising concerns about whether they sold me a previously registered domain.

❌ Refusal to Provide Standard Registrar Support – When I requested a simple ownership confirmation letter, a standard industry practice, SA Domain aggressively refused, despite confirming my ownership in their system.

❌ Unprofessional & Defensive Customer Service – Instead of assisting, SA Domain’s representative became defensive, dismissive, and even threatened legal action when I questioned the legitimacy of the sale.

❌ Lack of Transparency – If the domain was available for purchase, why is another platform claiming ownership? And why does SA Domain refuse to issue an ownership confirmation letter if everything is legitimate?

Warning to Future Customers If you are looking for a reliable domain registrar, think twice before using SA Domain. A domain registrar should provide transparency and support—not sell you a domain and then refuse to verify your ownership.

I have now escalated this matter to ZACR (ZA Central Registry), ISPA (Internet Service Providers’ Association), and the National Consumer Commission for investigation.

If you’re considering SA Domain, I strongly recommend using a more professional and reputable registrar instead.
