WARNING!! Please be careful of this company. I never received my product from them and requested my money to be returned. I have been waiting for weeks and keep getting promised that it will be sent but nothing ever happens. Very concerning and I will be taking the matter further!

Ok it's a long story but let me use point form. 1. Bought and paid for a new vacuum machine in Sept 2020 2. Then covid happened. 3. July of 2022 I decided after many many requests for info on the order with comment being received weeks after contact I was convinced I'd been had. 4. I tried a new approach. What have you got that I can use. 5. He has an almost new Orved 18commercial unit and straight trade for what I paid him. Those units cost about R120k new with VAT. I have it its with me a.s I'm going to try it out. One small damage was the toggle part of the on/off switch. Likely shipping to Maun. So after almost 2 years there was a happy ending. Why did this happen? Chris's explanation about the supply chain and the SA harbors is very plausible. Chinese factories take care of their Chinese customers.first.

Send a vacuum machine for repairs to Safari-vac . Chris Johnson (0795881375) only operate via Whatsapp. I asked him to repair the machine . After 4 weeks and numerous communication efforts the machine was “repaired”. Back at home the machine was not working and through a lot of videos ge tried to rectify the problem . He has put all the blame on me stating that the machine broke during transport etc . I got hold of another equipment service company who repaired and rewired the machine . Various components did not work and had to be replaced . The vacuum pump also needed a service etc. I send a list of the repairs that were done to Chris Johndon and his answer was that I did not asked for those repairs to be done by him . He swear that the machine was working when it left his workshop and was damaged by fairies en route to me . He is hiding behind his Whatsapp method of doing any business and is a faceless fraudster . Looking at other reviews I would strengly recommend that you dont do ANY business with Safari-vac.

I contacted Chris Johnson early February 2014 to find out if he get trade-in vacuum machines because I feel a good (name) second hand machine is better than cheap new ones. Firstly he explained to me that he is more that 30 years in the trade and knows everything there is to know about a vacuum machine. After a couple of days he wrote me a mail in which he claimed (with photos) he had just the machine for me that I need. He wanted R5000 for the machine and said I must pay upfront then he will service it and courier it to me (I'm farming in the Karoo). I checked everything out and decided it looked credible.

After I paid the money, weeks went past that I haven't heard a word from him, and then when I tried to contact him, he just didn't answer his phone or his e-mails. After numerous attempts, I spoke to marketing manager, Kyle. In the beginning he was very anxious to help, but after a while it was exactly the same as with Chris.

I paid R5000 on 20 February 2014. Today is 03 March 2015 (more than a year later) and I still haven't received my vacuum sealer or my money back.

I've got proof of everything.

Regards,
Kosie van Schalkwyk
