Good & Affordable Furniture store
I first visited their store in Primrose, Johannesburg before I paid. The store is small with very few demo options. The couches are made by order, so don't expect to see the couch you specifically want there. I paid and ordered my couch on Friday, 23 Jan 2026 and it was delivered by 29 Jan 2026. Fast turn-around time, they need to work on their communication and delivery service. The delivery wasn't the smoothest. But the couch itself is as described, size and look wise. I bought the Big Miami couch. Please understand that you are getting what you pay for & it really is value for money. The couches look great and are aesthetically pleasing, BUT don't expect them to feel like Cori Craft or Cielo quality.

Wow!!!! Just wow!!! I purchased a lounge suite from Sahara africa furniture and may I just emphasize the great service I received. From pre sale service to after sale service this place really exceeds all expectations. They assisted with all my questions and photo examples off the many different choices available. After purchase they were in touch constantly as to where my order is and when it will be delivered. They delivery team arrived on time as expected and even assembled the whole unit without letting us raise a finger. Sahara africa furnitures you guys are a great example of what it means to exceed customer expectations. I have had the utmost pleasure of doing business with you and I look forward to doing business in future. Will definitely reccomend you to friends and family.

No recommendations what so ever.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from this company. I bought couches from them, i opted to collect myself, as i collected, the legs to couches were placed on the couch before the couches were wrapped. But when i arrived home, the legs were no longer there, apparently i forgot them. Informed them, the said they will send them. Its been 3 weeks still waiting for those legs, no communication whats so ever. Dont waist your money.

Terrible experience. Never again.
We ordered a couch from here and paid R2999 for delivery from JHB to Durban. Firstly, it was not the same as the advertised picture. Secondly, it arrived dirty and damaged due to being improperly packaged. I told them about this and they said it was packaged for local delivery and was not packed for transportation to Durban and said they’d look into it. Now it’s been weeks and they’ve had nothing to say about it, they are ignoring me completely. Now the couches stitching is coming apart. I will never order from here again. I trusted this brand and was hoping to have a wonderful experience with a local business - never again. It’s time for my lawyer to get involved.

Sahara furniture's aka krusty the couch guy
Bad customer after sales service... poor quality material used.. they seem to take chances with a few orders.. I was super impressed the first time I purchased from them. The second time they have left me down.. I will be 2 minded before referring them to anyone again

Headboard puchase
Please do not order from this company. Customer service terrible. They do not answer your emails and WhatsApp. The worst company I have ever ordered from. I ordered a few furniture pieces from different companies over these past few months. All of them including leroy merlin,makro etc had excellent service. I ever regret ordering from them.. The quality and service doesn't even deserve 1 star
