Worst company to deal with. I have submitted all documents and paid, and after 5 weeks I have still not received a medical devices certificate. 5 WEEKS! You can email, phone, beg, threaten, burst a vein you will not get a proper response. Half the time the phones do not work, and you are lucky to get an email response let alone a proper one. But hell you have to pay 15K upfront and then another R3400 to get the certificate. Not sure what I am paying for but it is not for service!
I am trying to explain to them that we are a functional TAX paying business, which means if I cannot sell, I have no TAX to pay. If I cannot trade, I can close my doors, this contributes to a bigger unemployment percentage. If I incur 6 weeks of customs storage fees on numerous parcels, our medical supplies pricing will increase. This gets carried over to the patient. So all in all SAHRA is contributing to economical disfunction. Everyone loses!
