I am extremely disappointed with our recent experience at San Lameer Restaurant.
Our booking was pre-arranged in advance. We arrived at 19:15 and placed our full order (both food and drinks) shortly thereafter. Despite this, it took an entire hour just to receive a can of Coke.
Only after that one-hour delay were we informed that multiple items on the menu were unavailable - nearly half the menu. This was not communicated when the order was taken, nor were we informed at the time of our arrival. As a result, our entire table had to re-order, causing further delays.
There was little to no proactive communication from staff throughout the evening. At no point were we given the opportunity to make an informed decision about whether to adjust our order earlier or choose another restaurant altogether.
In total, the experience took over two hours, largely due to poor communication and service inefficiency. This was highly inconvenient and unacceptable, especially considering the booking was made in advance.
This experience did not reflect the standard one would expect. I hope management takes this matter seriously and implements improvements to avoid similar incidents in the future.
