In November of 2021 my wife took my son to the clinic for a consultation. She presented our Discovery medical aid card and was told that she only needed to pay the admin fee and that Discovery will pay the balance. I went there twice in the same month and I was only asked to pay the admin fee. To our surprise we received a message this month (seven months later) from a collections agency demanding the full amount,. Not even the admin fees that were paid is reflecting up on their statement. Yesterday I went to the clinic to sort this out. When I got to the reception with three ladies sitting next to one another behind the desk and I raised my concern, I was asked by one of them " met wie van ons praat jy nou einlik?" while the other two started laughing. Pathetic attitude if you ask me. Why did they tell my wife that we were covered by our Discovery plan if they knew that they weren't even on Discoveries network list? Why send a collections agency after us if there was no correspondence for seven months? Because of their incompetence's I need to waste my valuable time to sort this out. Who do I bill for my time? I can see the word is out on Hello Peter and I cant imagine them making a success of this clinic. Shame on them for for making jokes and laughing at peoples medical condition. Un/FN/believable
