Warning to all accommodation establishments - this company doesn't pay! A booking was made by Amanda Gcuku <amanda@santrav.co.za with a direct santrav server e-mail address on a company letterhead logo signature and supplied us with a voucher number. The service was rendered, however they failed to pay. For more than a year now, we have been following up with the agent (as the only available number - all other numbers listed are non-existing). We have record where each time she very clearly reaffirms that they will pay, each time different excuse. Not once have she notified us that she is no longer still working at SANTRAV or assisted by supplying us with alternative contact details to follow up on accounts. When we eventually got hold of "Kris" through a major search battle, he was sooooo rude, personally insulting me, claiming for this agent not to work at the company anymore and the guest who stayed is no longer their "client". This is all irrelevant - fact remains: We received a valid booking with voucher number, their client DID stay and enjoyed meals, and SANTRAV (never-mind who or which presenter made the booking) as company stays liable to pay for services they received. We have written consent of the booking from the company. Be careful not to loose money by hosting SANTRAV's clients and then never receive payment - rather stick to the well-known famous travel agents who are certain to pay and who deals respectfully and honorable.
