I ordered a sale item online which I had to return as it doesn't fit me. Their policy states, "No refunds on promotional items. Promotional items may not be exchanged at store locations. Please contact customercare@scotchsoda.co.za for any exchanges." I sent an email to customercare@scotchsoda.co.za informing them that I need to return the item as it doesn't fit me. No response received. I returned the item via Courier Guy to the return address on the invoice and sent a follow up email after I received confirmation that it has been delivered. Still no response from Scotch & Soda. They just ignore my emails. So at present, I don't have the item nor the money I paid for it. And I have no other way of contacting them as them as the website only provides an email address. Frustration galore!

Please read this before purchasing at this store. Their clothes are overpriced. I purchased a shirt for R 1999 on the 5th of May 2024 at the Morningside Shopping Centre in Sandton. At the till point, the male assistant never informed me that they have a no refunds policy. I was only informed when I attempted to get a refund for the ugly shirt, the next day, the 6th of May 2024. I contacted the regional manager for Scotch and Soda SA, he too refused to provide a refund. These people are obviously incredibly dishonest for not informing customers that their items are non-refundable. I received a credit note for the amount and cannot use it on sale items, how incredibly *****ed is this franchise.

The company sells clothing and advertises heavily on social media. After my online order I am unable to acquire any feedback on the status of my order. I have tried calling the head office, sending mails to Craig (the person in charge of online orders) and also speaking to sales personnel at their Waterfront shop, but no feedback is forthcoming. I have been waiting for three weeks now for any news on my order.
