BEST RESTAURANT WITH A ROUND OF APPLAUSE
This restaurant is amazing. Good food, wonderful vibe and the service is incredible. My husband and I celebrated Valentines Day at Calistos, Gillview, we don't often spoil ourselves so when we do, we make the most of it. The best prawns at a reasonable price. The restaurant is clean and super-efficient. We didn't have to have to wait for hours even though the place was full. Being popular is not easy, because you have to keep improving and this is exactly what they do. Well done George and Staff - you rock!

BEST RESTAURANT WITH A ROUND OF APPLAUSE
This restaurant is amazing. Good food, wonderful vibe and the service is incredible. My husband and I celebrated Valentines Day at Calistos, Gillview, we don't often spoil ourselves so when we do, we make the most of it. The best prawns at a reasonable price. The restaurant is clean and super-efficient. We didn't have to have to wait for hours even though the place was full. Being popular is not easy, because you have to keep improving and this is exactly what they do. Well done George and Staff - you rock!

Sun Coast Casino _ Calistos
Calistos Sun Coast Casino is by far the worst, the restaurant was empty but we had to wait to be seated, thereafter we were given stale rolls furthermore we were given the wrong food not only that the meals which we were given weren't cooked and was ice cold. Richard being the manager as no idea how to manage things he was drunk on duty with clothes that looked like it wasn't washed for days, he could not solve any of our issues. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, service is disgusting.

Sun Coast Casino _ Calistos
Calistos Sun Coast Casino is by far the worst, the restaurant was empty but we had to wait to be seated, thereafter we were given stale rolls furthermore we were given the wrong food not only that the meals which we were given weren't cooked and was ice cold. Calistos Sun City Racist
The restaurant in Sun City is extremely racist, on 2 days I was being given negative attitude cause we were a group of 12 black people.blOn the first day I called a waiter and she rushed to the table behind where she was never called because it had white people and second day it was they were able to sit a table of 15 whites that booked after me so I really felt its a racist restaurant

Bad Service and food quality
Went to Calistos in Monte Casino on Saturday with my family, we ordered 2 x pita specials and a kiddies strips. Only received 1 pita and an order of chicken stripes and rice, which we did not order, Pita was ice cold, went back as we sat in front of the restaurant. Told the cashier (Noma) the one order was incorrect and that the one pita was cold, asked if she could warm it up for me. She looked and me took the wrong order and ventured to the back, disappeared for about 5 min and came back, said they will make another pita for the wrong order, i asked about the cold one if she cold maybe heat it in the microwave, she said she cant heat it or help me, "Nothing i can do" The kiddies stripes were so small and spicy not ideal for a 4 year old, we ended buying some pops at KFC instead. I asked her if she could bring the food to my table when it was ready.... She sent a waitress/helper to bring the food to me. I had asked whom the supervisor on shift was and was told it was Masito. Not once did anyone apologies or even come and ask if the food was ok. literally dump and run. To top it all off when we ate our pita's they had some salad in them, which is the norm but seemed the lettuce and tomatoes where laying in water and was purely picked out the container and pushed into the pita, no draining what so ever. TBH - one of the worse meals i have had in a very long time, truly disappointing. Bad service and bad quality. Safe to say i will not be visiting them anytime soon. I strongly recommend trying some of the other restaurants before attempting a meal from Calistos. I suggest Tsogo Sun investigate the quality of this restaurant, especially due to the service and care Tsogo Sun offer their patrons

Pathetic food with no refund
New years day 2022. Purchased food at Senor Calistos in the food court at Monte Casino. We took the food to our room at the hotel. On opening and tasting the chicken it tasted like rubber and was not fit for human consumption. The lady at the counter could not give us a refund. I then proceeded to call the owner who said his name was Abdul who stated that he was the owner. He sounded agro and said that he will send me a refund I should leave all my details with the cashier and he will do an EFT. To date no refund has been done. Will never visit or eat at this eatery again. I have told all my friends and colleagues as well to never eat at this eatery.

Senhor Carlistos Belgravia WELL DONE
Ordered late. Wasn't sure if it will be made in time for breaking fast. also wasn't sure how it will taste as they just opened up after lockdown. The gentlemen i spoke to was the most pleasant and afforded me the opportunity to complete my order even though people in the house were taking long. I have ate at their restaurant before and I know the Lady Manager is a good listener and trainer. When the food arrived it was perfect to the way i ordered and over my expectation since it was late ordered. Thank You

We bought a voucher on Hyperli for Senhor Calisto’s Family Special at Senhor Calisto’s Montecasino Chicken was over grilled and was so hard may be due to re grilling and chips were smelling old, me and my husband had stomach upset the day after, guyz please dont play with customers health just for the sake of selling your expired items. very upset and will not buy or recommend Senhor Calisto’s Family Special at Senhor Calisto’s Montecasino to any one..
