Lack of RSG 102.6 service at Houtbosdorp

Friday 13 February 2026 was “World Radio Day” which was widely advertised. Unfortunately there was no coverage/service in our area from 6h00 in the morning. This continues for some time and were on and off during the weekend. Since 20h00 this evening when I switch on the radio , there is no sound. For more than 45 minutes. It is very frustrating.

The channel that is out of service is FM 102,6 channel (RSG) in our area (Houtbosdorp, Limpopo , 23°49'01.1"S 29°53'59.6"E). It seems that we have radio frequency shedding.
