I am writing this to warn other consumers.

I had a debt with Homechoice that was handled by Nimble. On 28 January 2026, Nimble sent me written confirmation that the debt was PRESCRIBED—meaning it is legally uncollectable and the file is closed.

However, I recently discovered that Nimble sold my data to Shapiro Shaik Defries attorneys in December 2025—before they admitted the debt was prescribed. Now, despite having a letter from Nimble saying I owe nothing, I am being harassed by lawyers demanding payment.

Nimble has proven they cannot manage consumer data. They sold a prescribed debt (which is ******* to pursue) and failed to notify the buyer that the debt was dead. Their internal systems are clearly broken.

If you ever deal with Nimble, save every letter they send you—because their left hand clearly does not know what their right hand is doing. They will sell your information to vultures even after admitting you owe nothing.
