Me and my girlfriend booked and cancelled almost same time because they dont allow outside alcohol in their rooms but now they are taking forever to refund us and on bookings they didnt state that they dont allow outside alcohol, you only see that after you book when receiving approval emails.

<p>Made a booking a Sheppard boutique hotel in Nelspruit.</p> <p>I have never in my entire life experienced such rudeness from a hotel owner.</p> <p>Firstly one of the housekeeping ladies insists they have washed the bath tub after I told them they hadn't. I reported them to one of the owners at reception (very nice gentleman) who said they would have it addressed with the ladies that he owns the establishment with (twins). On Saturday the 30th Dec at breakfast I had 2 encounters. The twins being very rude to me and my family after ordering omlettes, we were told these are served in a certain way but were not delivered in that way. They came to our table to tell us that this is what we will get without even waiting to hear a word I had to say they walked off.</p> <p>They both returned to tell us our bath tub was cleaned 3 times and the towels were changed at the breakfast table...<br />None of that was done. Rudely trying to walk away again I had to ask the one twin to get back so I can explain my side of the story. I then told her what had happened and that I was not impressed with her way of dealing with the issue. Without a word she left.</p> <p>They don't seem to deliver on most of the things. We had asked for a sleeper couch for our son, that wasn't there when we arrived. A stretcher camp bed was later brought to our room. The wifi wasn't connected, network for Vodacom is non existent in the room and the safes are not working.</p> <p>I'm disappointed and disgusted at the attitudes of the twins especially because they are owners and this is the hospitality industry.</p> <p>I really don't know how they managed to get a 4 star rating with the way they deal with people.</p> <p> </p> <p>Today when we checked out. i went to one of the twin to tell her her rudeness was just beyond and that next time she needs to pick her words, she smiled at me for the first time and said, I hope there won't be a next time.</p> <p>I did however notice that her behaviour was very different with the white guests and very rude to black guests.</p> <p>I honestly didn't want to make this a racial thing but that's how it came across in the end.</p>
