Jonkershuis Constantia - 8 eat, charged for 12

Made a booking for 12 people, but some people couldn't make it - 8 went for dining. The others had a lot more to eat and drink than the fixed menu on which the quote was based. <br> <br> They insisted I had to pay for the standard 12 people food PLUS all the extras!! Restaurant about 40% full - didn't understand why so empty on a Friday - guess I now do. Outside setting is fantastic, the tables/seats certainly does not match setting (old and not well maintained), service and food average. Bottom line - a restaurant with a name/setting that is expensive, serves average food and overpriced wine.<br> <br> I will never go there again and will never take international guests there again. You only screw me once.
