Silvertree Estate is characterised by an orderly configuration, well-kept communal parks, much lighting, and routine security patrols. The estate fosters a courteous community, and the location provides convenient access to a nearby school. Despite the qualities, shortcomings affect daily usability. The scarcity of pedestrian sidewalks requires residents without vehicles to share narrow roadways with cars, engendering ongoing inconvenience. A notable incident involved a resident assailed from a property within the estate, past the security hut, and toward the school. The occurrence questions the effectiveness of the estate’s hospitality. While the estate provides access to commendable communal parks and an orderly environment, the lack of pedestrian infrastructure and the incident convey significant shortcomings. _ The review remains without prejudice. _

I would like to commend Silvertree Estates, and especially Diane Turk, for her outstanding service. Our house was due to go on auction at the end of the month after several agents failed to secure a suitable offer. Diane stepped in under extreme time pressure and within two weeks managed to get a good offer and sell our home. Her professionalism, urgency, and dedication were exceptional. I highly recommend Diane Turk from Silvertree Estates for delivering results even in challenging circumstances.

Our agent Marietjie gave us a filthy house to move into. I asked her a week before we moved in to please make sure the house will be clean as my husband recently had a heart attack and does not need the extra stress, well that was ignored (she had 6 weeks) i went to herboffice to ask why the hpuse was not cleaned and she told me with a smerk on her face that the owner was supposed to do it. I was alone to handle this move in to a dirty house as my husband was in hospital as he had a heart attack. My 3rd night in, with my two lottle kids, without my husband , and a front door that is broken and does not lock to this day. Our power was cut at the main, switch was cut off, someone came through and put in a new switch and it wasnt city power who came through, it was someone in a white BMW. Mmmm, now 3 months in and the house has not be completed in issues the agent promised would be fixed before we moved in. Front door still does not even lock and leaking toilet, among other things. Reported weeks ago. When we moved in, agent told us the owner is in government and has app**** for pre paid electricity and told me twice infront of a witness that the electricity is on the owner until the prepaid is sorted out, 3rd month she bills us for the power without notice buy a snotty conversation between her and the owner about us. I have no issue to pay for electricity at all but dont tell a person one thing, twice and then change your mind with out telling us and make us the bad guy for querying on it. Thus agent plays the tenant and the landlord up againt one another. No mention about the broken items in the house to be sorted out but whining about ****s on the pavement YET they do know my husband had a heart attack and had to have a stent put in recently and THEY gave us a filthy house and an unkept garden with garden refuse all over the place. They dont tell you that we have fixed and repaired alot of things that were not on the snag list. The agent is very unprofessional as she also recorded her conversation with the owner and shared it with us and we heard his moaning about ****s on the pavement and told her that we must leave, even though we have kept our side on the contract.

I have worked with Diane since 2004 - as a seller and a buyer, more than once in each capacity. She is THE SPECIALIST in the Little Falls area and has always provided excellent advice, service and assistance throughout the whole process. She is passionate about what she does, she comes to the party with negotiations - when everyone has to bring something to the table to make a deal work. I'm grateful for that. And most importantly, whether it takes a while or if it happens in a flash, she stays the course to sell your property.

I’m writing this letter in appreciation for the Silvertree Estates team, especially Miriam who is never too busy to make even the smallest issue a priority. Silvertree Estates have been doing a fantastic job managing the rental of my Townhouse, anything that went wrong at the unit, from tenants late rental payments, to getting quotes for repairs, and making sure the problem gets sorted in a timely manner, Miriam was there all the way getting it sorted. An inspection was done after a tenant breached contract and moved out without valid reasons or proper notice, leaving the unit in a disgusting state. Things were broken, huge holes left in the wall, cat hair all over the show, just to name a few... Luckily, Miriam were there as always and this was sorted! I just want to thank Miriam and her team at Silvertree Estates for the friendliness and readiness to always help whenever a problem arises. If you are looking for a rental agency who will go the extra mile to keep their customers (Landlords and Tenants) happy, I recommend Silvertree Estates.

Silver Tree Estate (owned by Diane Turk) is a real estate company with no scruples. They placed me in a rental where the owner refused to perform basic maintenance on the property. When it became too much, I gave CPA notice and left. And of course Silvertree Estate took the owner's side in the matter, even though he was clearly in breach of contract. Can you believe that they now want to REJECT the CPA notice (as if it's their choice) and keep my deposit! This is on top of the lack of competency from Miriam Odendaal, who only ever contacted me for rent; and never was there when I needed her. I am spreading the word all over the web... Silvertree Estate is the worst rental agency in South Africa. Avoid at all costs.
