In August 2025 I appointed Jacques / Simply Electrical for two projects at my property. The agreed contract amount was paid in full.
It is now over six months later, and the projects remain incomplete.
During this period, multiple completion dates were provided. On at least one occasion I was assured the outstanding work would be completed within one week. That commitment was not honoured.
There have been repeated instances where I had to follow up to determine why no work was taking place and when the team would return. Progress has been inconsistent and deadlines have not been met.
As a consumer, paying in full in good faith and then having to continually chase completion for months is unacceptable.
I have retained full written communication, proof of payment, and photographic records documenting the timeline and status of the work.
At the time of posting this review, the matter remains unresolved.
I would strongly advise other consumers to:
• Avoid full upfront payment • Insist on written timelines • Tie payments to clearly defined completion milestones
Avoid this business.
I remain willing to resolve this matter, but after six months of delays, I believe other consumers are entitled to be aware of my experience.
