If you want to insure your phone DON’T DO IT L and if you’re insured with them CANCEL while you have time to find another service provider The insurance service is horrible. You pay premiums every month, but when it’s time to claim, they make the process unbearable.
I insured my phone in 2022, and in October last year, my phone broke. I submitted a claim, but after about 10 days, I received no feedback at all. I emailed to follow up and was told my phone was not part of the claim because it was still at the store and hadn’t been collected.
I went the entire months of October and November without a phone, and after all that waiting, my phone still wasn’t fixed. Frustrated, I decided to cancel the insurance. I was informed that cancellation takes 30 days, which I accepted, and I even paid for that final month.
However, now they’re demanding a cancellation fee, even though there is no mention of such a fee in the contract. When I called to address this, the agent I spoke to was incredibly rude.
This experience has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing.
