Service or no service, just get sms that account needs to be paid without any contact and then only with date for payment, where is the contact for the person to get assisted and get statements, how can a person just pay without any proper contact

unreasonable overcharged contigency fees, crooks
my mother was involved in accident 3years ago and was assisted by them , and she was overchaged , charged more than 25% on contigency fee ive been trying to get clarity from them since 2020 till today they only response i get is that the attorney is busy will have a look on them file till today nothing has happened im even considering of taking other step trust never ever deal with this crooks never use their service

my mother was involved in accident 3years ago and was assisted by them , and she was overchaged , charged more than 25% on contigency fee ive been trying to get clarity from them since 2020 till today they only response i get is that the attorney is busy will have a look on them file till today nothing has happened im even considering of taking other step trust never ever deal with this crooks never use their service

Fantasic Attorneys!
I have been dealing with Simpson Attorneys since my motorcycle accident in 2018 and up till now, I have not once experienced anything other than fantastic service!! I am always being kept in the loop with real answers and not being promised things that can't be delivered and am being explained to in detail about every step being taken. I am being treated like they actually care about me and my case and I am extremely grateful that although I experienced severe trauma that nearly cost me my life, it is not going unnoticed! So, thank you to the whole team at Simpson's!! Best choice I have ever made is to leave my case in their hands. :)

Fantasic Attorneys!
I have been dealing with Simpson Attorneys since my motorcycle accident in 2018 and up till now, I have not once experienced anything other than fantastic service!! Disgrace
Unprofessional and cheats. 1st payout took a month because they been saying the laptop broke so they can't make payments. Now recently it's been two weeks telling us that we will get our money before xmas knowing they closing on the 22.12.20. We will spend our xmas with no food, kids no clothes to wear while they will enjoy theirs nice with their families. It is always black people who experiences such. So disappointed in a huge company. Never trust these people my number is 0837615266

Absolute ******* nightmare to deal with
I requested the contents of my file from Simpsons Attorneys through the proper channels and in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act via registered letter which was successfully delivered. The request was completely ignored, initially. Upon phoning to confirm receipt of this request, the representative on the phone did not know how the procedure works and asked me to explain what exactly I want. In terms of PAIA, this constitutes an outright refusal of access to the information, which appears very suspicious, all things considered... ORIGINAL REVIEW: This firm wasted seven months of my life. I had to wait this long for them to inform me that they are not interested in helping me further with my medical negligence case, which is based on lack of informed consent. I was not privy to any of the discussions on which this decision was based, despite stating expressly at our first consultation that I would like to stay fully informed at every step of the process. Despite being assured, at a meeting with an Advocate of the High Court, that I would be referred to a medical expert to obtain a medicolegal report, I waited five months for this to happen (ultimately it never did). In this time period, three phone messages left at reception went unanswered. On all three of these occasions, I was assured that I would be phoned "first thing tomorrow morning". In this same period, at least three emails requesting an update on the situation were ignored. Don't believe the social media hashtags and "attorneyswithheart" smokescreens - these are ambulance chasers with one motivating factor: MONEY, and not a sense of justice. My personal advice is to record every single conversation you have with any attorney (even ones who are on your side).

Unprofessional and dubious Representation of my claim.
I was involved in an accident with my car and approach my insurer (Oak Hurst) to activate my claim. This claim was declined by my insurer after which I decided to get a legal help from SIMPSONS ATTORNEYS to re-present my case before the insurer so that my claim can be validated. However, after submitting the recordings from the insurance company(Oak Hurst) to the attorney's office, paid the legal fee and had one-on-one chat with the attorney in charge of the case (Helette Louw). I was promised that I have a valid case against the insurer and received a correspondent to the meeting, excerpt below; " Dear Mr Omotola We refer to the above matter and your enquire at our office regarding your insurance claim which had been denied. After review of the recording submitted by you we are of the opinion that you do have a valid claim against the insurer. This decision is based on the entire content of the recorded call and not just the snippets which the Insurer is choosing to rely on. This claim, should we take it on, forms part of our civil litigation department that is not covered on our contingency fee agreement and as such we will request a deposit in order to carry out the necessary work. The normal deposit is R5 000,00. Please note this deposit is not the full amount that will be charged for work carried out. When the deposit is completed we will request a further deposit, and so on, until the matter is completed. Should the work carried out amount to less than the deposit paid, the remainder will be paid back to you. Kindly note that as we have now fully assessed your matter, all work needed to be done going forward will be billed for. Kindly find attached here a Service Level Agreement for your consideration should you choose to proceed. Kindly return the signed document to us, upon which we will provide you with a reference number and request for deposit to be paid. We trust you find the above in order and await your response. I had been left to the fixing of this car from my hard earn income after been promised that I have valid claim and paying for the disappointed service. In conclusion, the attorney's office had failed and lied to me about the quality of legal representation they can provide. Though, this case had been a year now but, each month that I have to pay for the continuous fixing of this car from my income and not able to drive the car, I'm left with frustrations and disappointments, I had refused to recommend this practice based on their professionalism and the dubious way of taking my money.
