I made a claim of my dividends (worth R14 820.20) of Ukhamba shares, under the administration of Singular Financial Services in the beginning of September (if not late August). Then on the 10th September 2024, I had to go to Master's office in Johannesburg, to amend the date of death on the Letter of Authority, at the request of Ukhamba. I took the amended document to their offices on the same day. On 01 October I received a call from Sindisiwe (representative from Ukhamba) and she told me that I need to amend the shares on the letter of authority as they are same thing written twice in a different way. Then took the document back to Singular, and she said the document is okay, according to her manager. Days later with no interaction, I made a phone call to check on the progress. Then Sindisiwe told me that Ukhamba cannot verify what is on the hard copy document I submitted against the online site of Master's office. The Master's office explained that, the older documents are not on the system, but they can do a manual verification via email. I shared the email addresses with them, and Sindisiwe promised that it would take 5 working days to verify the information and the payment would made into my bank account. Five days days elapsed on the 22 October, and there was no deposit from Ukhamba, then the following day I contacted Sindisiwe, and she told me that, the verification email was only send on 22 October. I then requested her to ask her manager to contact me, to understand why is there a week delay after I submitted the email addresses of the Master's office. On the 23 and 24 October, Sindisiwe and her manager at Singular Financial Services have been avoiding and ignoring me.
