Refusal to pay for life saving procedure
Dr MK Mogwera needs to do a life saving heart valve replacement for Mr D Visagie. Sisonka is refusing payment of this procedure. How can you refuse to pay for a PMB procedure?
You are referred to paragraph 8(2), (3), (4) of the Regulations to the Medical Schemes Act 131 of 1998.
How will the CMS view your accreditation with your business practice of refusing to pay for essential healthcare services?

31 Mar 2025, 12:30As revenge for this post now they want the patient, who has been using a CPAP machine for 20 years, to hire a new one as the 20 year old machine is reaching the end of its lifetime. They will only consider paying after the 3 months. Really how do you get to this deduction.
