The patient drinks Trileptal 600, Clicks cannot find stock in Pretoria. As a solution they want to give the patient 2X Trileptal 300, which means drinking 2 tablets iso 1. Keyhealth refuses payment for a PMB medication, crucial to manage the patient's condition, can you urgently provide a valid reason for not paying for this medication?
Dr MK Mogwera needs to do a life saving heart valve replacement for Mr D Visagie. Sisonka is refusing payment of this procedure. How can you refuse to pay for a PMB procedure? Package was due for a delivery and they informed me of delivery failure as I am not home. Phoned them and they promised to still deliver today. 17:00 and no package.
A patient with end stage Parkinson's disease and Pneumonia, both PMB conditions, must be transported from the Step-down facility to her home for end of life care. She is on 24hr oxygen and for for the last 2 days unresponsive. Apparently Bankmed refuses to pay for ambulance transport. For a patient you are unable to transport by car the family must pay for ambulatory transport. Well done Bankmed!!!! Once again you show your true colours.
The member is bedridden, with end of life Parkinson's and Pneumonia. She is also on full time oxygen. She will be discharged from a step-down facility, where no person informed us prior to transfer that she will be admitted to such a facility - this was done without the family's consent or knowledge, Bankmed refuses to fund the benefits to transport her by ambulance for home care. We are unable to transport her by car due to her advanced illness and that she is unresponsive for days.
I am trying to contact Mweb due to my line speed, I pay a lot of money for 50mbs upload and download. My download sometimes scarcely reaches 20mbs. As I am also working from home this affects my work performance. It is impossible to phone them, you hold on for 29minn28s twice just to get cut off. Also, if you log an electronic enquiry they simply ignore it. The only people you can get hold of is the Sales team. Are you going to refund me with the service I am receiving vs the service I am paying for. Also
EF du Plessis - 518475150 The member is at end stage Parkinsons, she has trouble swallowing and asperates when eating and drinking fluids. This may result in Pneumonia or in death. As an alternative she has been on feeds since 2017. Now after 5 years, Bankmed is insisting on only approving benefits for 3 months, where after a progress report must again be submitted by the Dietician. There will never be progress , as her condition will only worsen. She cannot stand up on her own and also cannot walk anymore, she also has Parkinsons Dimentia. They refuse to provide a reasonable explanation for this sudden decision. The only deduction is that they either want to starve her death or have her bedridden in a hospital dying of pneumonia. I have been trying to confirm benefits on a approved hospital procedure, of which the procedure codes was indicated on the motivation. I need this info as a matter of urgency, but Bankmed seems unable to assist me without completing a form to get an amount that will be paid by them. Taking 2-5working days while I require the information no later than tomorrow. Bankmed is wasting valuable time that I do not have to spent on this!!!!!
<p>I struggled from 10 April 2017 to obtain authorisation for special feeds for the member, which was only given on 5 May. I had to buy these as finances and stock allowed. Now they refuse to pay due to the number of days between scripts. If you had a good look at these scripts you will see that we did not buy the full month's requirementof 28 at a time, but 4-5 at a time, which calculates to around 1 a day. This was not due to any negligence on my part. </p> <p> </p> <p>Get all the outstanding information from the service provider and resubmit these claims for payment to the member.</p>
