10/10 for Skin Functional
My wife and I had the privilege today of meeting Kevin, who conducted a detailed analysis of both our skin. It’s refreshing to meet someone with such extensive knowledge and genuine passion for what he does. His honest and transparent approach immediately inspires confidence in the process. Kevin is an absolute star — we’re really looking forward to getting our first stack. We haven’t started using the products yet, but based on the samples, the quality appears to be top-notch.

Melanoclear weird new formula?
The Melanoclear serum used to be my holy grail for stubborn marks. This used to be my favourite Skin Functional product! The results were gradual but consistent, it was the only product that effectively treated my hormonal hyper***mentation. Unfortunately, the latest formula seems to have changed to a very very watery consistency without any notice to customers. After just two days of use, I developed breakouts on my cheeks and a fine, red, itchy rash across my face. Throughout the day my face got puffy. Something that’s never happened with the old formulation. Again, nothing was put on the website about the change in formula. I had to spend huge amounts of money on La Roche Posay products to calm my skin down. Such a pity, this was once a truly reliable product. Such an unnecessary change.

I have purchased a bottle of Melanoclear from Takealot last year when the product was just launched I even put a wonderful review on takealot with my name : Sameerah, it has been highly effective in treating my hyper***mentation it was thick and rich in consistency and orange in colour . My bottle was almost finished and I ordered a new bottle from takealot a few days ago i opened the bottle this evening this time the product consistency was like dirty dish soap water thin and running like water with tiny black specs in it I am very disspointed. I use alot of Skin Functional products but if this is the product quality I am getting for my money I can rather use international brands that haven't failed me.

Excellent customer service and products
Their customer service is excellent and professional. I had a bit of a problem with The Courier guy in delivering my products, but Kevin Khosa stepped in and helped in getting my products delivered. Their products are good on my sensitive skin and the guide on using them came in really handy for me. It's a plus that I'm starting to see so much of a difference as far as my ***mentation is concerned. Definitely ordering again from them ❤️

Excellent customer service and products

Very Disapointed in the skin functional brand.
I purchased their sun functional sunscreen stick from Takealot and it was delivered today, upon opening the stick 3/4 of it fell off. I am so disappointed because the first time I purchased an item from them, a retinol serum, the item was broken. I have requested to return the item via takealot but I doubt it would be refunded as it's considered a cosmetic. I won't be buying any more of their products, there's always an issue and it's time consuming to constantly log returns.
