I went for my first treatment. I had a lip and brow wax. The wax was way too hot. For the next 4 days, my lip and upper eye area were swollen and broke out in bumps. I also purchased a package for a range of face treatments. My total purchase was R,3,964.50 I was never informed that they do not have a "no refund" policy. I called them to request a refund and Karen, the branch manager, informed me only now of this policy. She was disinterested in the fact that this policy was not pointed out to me. She also went on to insinuate that I was being untruthful, both of which I took grave offense to. When making such a big purchase, I feel the refund policy must be expressly explained to the customer. I would like my money refunded (of course minus the treatment I had and the products I purchased) I feel as a consumer, I have been misinformed and I've been given below-average treatment. A franchise owner is meant to uphold the service quality of the franchise brand and I feel Plattekloof SkinPhd has failed to do so, therefore being in breach of their franchise agreement. I would like this matter addressed by their head office.
