Never been this angry!!..brought large meal of hake n fries all i got was burnt offerings,its like they were s****ing left over burnt fries just to fill the pack,dint get me started on the fish I’ve never seen such a burnt crisp fish,dont know if its disrespect or just standard of food drastically dropping there by Woodburn pmb..I wouldn’t even serve what they gave me to my dog!! Highly disappointed never going back there again,they need to pull up their socks this is not the skippers we know!!

I am so disappointed with Skippers lately in South Beach Durban. Their fish is no longer the same as it was before in terms of sizing, taste and the fries that goes with it, they are so few it’s not even funny whilst the wait is getting even longer. I never used to mind the waiting time as it was worth it previously however it’s no longer the same. I have had numerous disappointing experiences hence I’m now writing here hoping they’ll see and improve. The fish is now expensive but the standard is dropping drastically please do something. I have been the customer back when the large hake was R20. I am not happy at all

I am so disappointed with Skippers lately in South Beach Durban. Skippers Woodburn PMB ( Disgusting Service) On Tuesday ( 2022/06/21), my family and I ordered 2 x specials of double hake and the 1 x special of single hake, 2 portions of Calamari and an extra portion of Medium Chips coming to a total of R400.00 which in today's times is a lot of money to be spending on fast food. When we received our order, we drop half way home only to realize that our extra chips and our 2 portions of calamari was not in the packet... We had to waste our fuel to go back to Skippers and the Manager who was on duty (who refused to give me her name) did not want to give us the food that we ordered and had paid for... Instead of the chips she offered us a 2Lt cool drink and gave us the money back for our Calamari as they refused to make it for us... Even though we had paid for it. The manager did not want to give me her name... Nor did she want to compinsate us for not only the inconvenience caused to us but also the fuel which we used to come back to Skippers (twice).

Skippers Woodburn PMB- Slow service, only one cashier on duty for a busy weekend. The squid heads were overly fried, left a bitter after taste. The prawn pops tasted stale. Was disappointing to say the least. The lady at the pass could adopt a better attitude when dealing with customers who have been waiting an extended period for their meal.

The food is delicious, the shop is busy and the service is slow, understandably. The most frustrating part is that they do not answer the phone so you cannot really place call-in orders, and on the occassion that you do, the order is never ready on the stipulated time when you get there. Parking is also an issue outside the store, as Metro Police ticket the public wanting to collect their orders from the outlets along that section of West Str.

Most expensive and highly dissapointing Calamari. While it may have tasted fine.... I literally paid R80 for a tiny little bowl of Tube Calamari which would probably have fit into my palm. SO DISSAPOITING. NEVER WILL I GO THERE AGAIN.

First time trying out skippers Bedfordview and will not eat there again stay far away. The food was very salty a few hours had passed our family got food posioning we spent most of our sunday locked away in the toilet. Got severly sick from the food if you need a good gut cleaning have there food.

<p>RANT!! We were very excited to try out Skippers Bedfordview yesterday after seeing their menu at Mochachos Bedfordview just to be disappointed by the terrifying service levels we received. On the screens in their shop they have a combo that reads: Hake Fillet, Prawns and Calamari Tubes. We wanted to add this to our order but were quickly informed that the combo only comes with rings and not tubes. We insisted that they need to give this to us as advertised. If it were just that the picture contained tubes, surely we would have understood as they do have a disclaimer that states that VISUALS are for advertising purposes only. But it was not only the image that contained calamari tubes but the DESCRIPTION of the combo that clearly stated the combo included calamari tubes. We then asked to speak to the manager. We waited for about 5 - 10 minutes for the manager to finally assist us. Obviously expecting her to solve the problem professionally?? But no, she came storming to the front, pointing to the disclaimer and kept saying if you read here below it says that Visuals are for advertising purposes only and meals may vary. We then tried explaining to her that it is not the VISUALS that we are referring but the product DESCRIPTION clearly states that the combo has calamari tubes and that she is obligated to give it to us as advertised. She just kept pointing to the disclaimer and then got on the phone. We didn't hear much but heard this 'you need to change it, I'm sick of fighting with customers.' After she got off the phone we explained to her as an example that if you go to PnP and the coffee is marked at R 70 and you go to the till and it's loaded as R 90 - they are obligated to give it to you at he advertising price. 'Well, here is head office's number, take it up with them!!' Because of her disgusting attitude, we then decided to turn around and walk out of shop. If she had simply apologised and handled it in a professional manner they would have received our order of approximately R 500 and our business in future! I am appalled that this lady is a manager! She had a Mochachos badge on her shirt, so I'm presuming these stores are linked and she is manager at both? Needles to say, if she works there as well, Mochachos won't be receiving my business or referrals again either! At least we went to ocean basket thereafter and satisfied our cravings there ;)</p>
