On Monday I accessed the international slow lounge for the first time this year only to realised on Wednesday that I was charged R550, i enquired on the App and I was told I was on reward level 1 on my private client account. I think it's unfair to charged without being told they must create a system that will inform you before you enter if you are eligible for a visit or you will charged. I had options, I had my discovery card and my FNB business card I could have used them instead of the private clients. This is an unfair charge.

The Slow Lounge gets the essentials right: it's clean, has wifi, and offers a space to sit. The shower facilities are a welcome feature. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ends. The food and beverage offering is minimal and uninspired, more like a continental breakfast bar than a proper lounge spread. It also tends to get very busy, which means items run out and it loses its "slow" appeal. An acceptable place to kill an hour if you have free access, but not a lounge I'd go out of my way for or pay to enter again. Perfectly average.

Dear F&B Lounge Team, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to bring to your attention an issue I experienced yesterday. When I arrived at the airport, I was unable to access the lounge, even though my app clearly showed that I was on reward Level 4. This caused me a great deal of inconvenience. To make matters worse, I’ve noticed that my account has now been Debited please fix this now

The slow lounge in Cape town is where bad the staff is not professional and doesn’t have respect for the clients and customers. The guy in front at the door doesn’t have the professionalism that the customer is the priority he doesn’t have respect for the customer even when outside the lounge that is not part of the lounge.

Fnb Slow Lounge international at OR Tambo. 12 March 1220pm. One section was closed. The open section was very full. I requested just a few minutes in the "closed " section to pray. I could see the place was completely empty. The front desk refused. The deputy manager on duty, SERISHA BALDEV, basically just gave me like a rule book answer - and supported her front desk staff. I explained and showed her the open space that I wanted to use for 10 minutes. Flat refusal. No attempt to accommodate me. No managerial skills. Just NO . We were fasting- not using any other facilities. Just a space required. Other people were going into that section for " some meeting" A lounge should be there to provide comfort for travelers and staff are supposed to be friendly and helpful. Not sulky and read the rule book. Really disappointed with the lounge that I use so often and generally pray without any difficulty. Eventually we just prayed in the busy section - whilst hoping not to disturb other patrons.

I'm very unhappy about being turned away from the lounge after explaining that there was a mishap with my flight bookings and requested to be allowed in earlier than normal. I think its defeats the purpose of the lounge altogether.

We used to have minimum 16 slow lounge accesses per year. FNB just took it away without any explanation. My private banker has no idea how this works and can not even explain the ebuck reward procedure.
