SAGGING MATTRESS, USELESS GUARANTEE! We purchased a premium range Slumberland Jupitar Medium King Extra Length from Mr. Mattress in Somerset West on the 7th of December 2025. The mattress was delivered on 15 December 2025. Less than one month later, the mattress is sagging badly on both sides, completely hollow where our bodies lie, and has a bulge down the centre and by our heads and feet. We had the Slumberland expert assess the mattress; his findings are that there is nothing wrong with the unit. Their warranty is an absolute gimmick to have people purchase their product. Do not buy any Bravo brand mattress, like Edblo, King Koil, Sealy or Slumberland. They have NO after-sales service.

We purchased a Slumberland Vicor Medium Base and Mattress in cash from Mattress Corporation Towers Center in Boksburg during September 2024. Less than 7 months later, the mattress is in shocking condition. It’s sagging badly on both sides, completely hollow where our bodies lie, and has a permanent bulge down the centre. One side of the mattress edge is so warped it’s not even in a straight line anymore. We registered for the guarantee during September 2024 and logged a formal complaint with Slumberland recently. It took quite a while before we received any response. An inspector was eventually sent to assess the damage, and after his visit, Slumberland’s customer service informed us that this condition is normal wear and tear. They advised us to continue turning the mattress clockwise every two weeks – something we had already been doing consistently since day one. Now we’re stuck with a mattress that feels like we’re sleeping directly on coils. It offers zero support and has left us waking up every morning with severe lower back pain. Sleep is restless and uncomfortable, as we constantly toss and turn just to find some relief. If this is what Slumberland considers “normal” after 7 months, I shudder to think what this mattress will look and feel like after a year or two. We paid R9,000 for what is now a completely worthless mattress. The quality is far below acceptable, and the so-called guarantee means nothing when genuine defects are brushed off as normal. I cannot in good conscience recommend this product to anyone. Avoid the Slumberland Vicor mattress at all costs. It is not worth the money, the discomfort, or the disappointment.

I am so disappointed to have bought your bed for R11 999 and realized a year later when the base broke that it is made of cardboard and put together with a sellotape . I will never again and I am now told to pay half of the costs to fix it what an exploitations of clients.

Why oh why did I not come and check here first!!! Bought a Slumberland bed less than a month ago. Was great when we first received it, however... Well, in a nutshell, what we have is not what they advertised on their website (not that they care). We bought a FIRM bed and, well, this is NOT A FIRM bed!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to the store I bought the bed through, Slumberland (Bravo) did contact me, and EVENTUALLY the (so-called) area manager (not sure if he actually is) contacted me and asked a few questions, ignored what he did not like to here and, after telling me that we bought the wrong bed (a pocket spring), told me that what my complaints were, was not a factory fault (now you must understand that the person had not even seen our bed - he had this amazing ability to 'see' things. Now, I am not saying that we are right and I am not saying that we are wrong, however, the way were simply brushed off shouts volumes of the mistake we made. Slumberland (Bravo) could learn a thing or 2 on how to treat customers with respect. They got my money and who cares. Again, yes, Bravo phone me, but at the end of the day, just to tell me that they are right and I am wrong and that is that. They did 'apologise' though I am not certain for what???!! (I will be interested to see if they contact me...)

I bought a slumberland pocket PLUS PLUSH bed about 6 weeks ago. I do understand that a new bed will usually be firmer when new. Now 6 weeks later, no difference. It is still firm. The pillow top has a softer feel but after a while laying down its get hard. Now i have neck and shoulder pain daily. I bought this mattress specifically as I needed the opposite of firm

This is the e mail I sent to slumberland and have not received any response, a person tries to be decent before the name and shame thing but it seems theres no other way now, We purchased a Slumberland Omega queen mattress and base round about 2019 from Lewis stores Bronkhorstspruit. From the first day the springs started to pop, we contacted Lewis as the bed was under their insurance and after a long battle lasting 3 years it was finally replaced with a Slumberland Romeo pillow top in August 2022, I am sorry to say that this is the worst mattress I have ever come across, when turning around at night it makes such a noise that it wakes the whole household, it is terribly misformed like the springs are sticking through. Since the bed has been paid off at Lewis there is no longer insurance.

Hi there, I have reached out to you guys, Bravo brands and the store that I have purchased from. To date I have not received a response from anyone. I bought a slumberland Springfield mattress and base set in April last year, after 6 months it started making a creaking noise. I don't know if the creak is from the mattress or base, but it is too new to be making noise. I spent a lot of money and would expect far better quality. Please advise on what to do next. Emails and numbers no longer reflect on hello peter, but i will try this way preshani @ yahoo . com
