Smart power SA does not give you exact breakdown of how much electricity you use or buy. I have asked numerous times to email me a breakdown of exactly how many kilowatts I use . Their client service staff and personnel are very rude and unprofessional. The reply with sarcastic messages and have no urgency to solve any problem. I would never ever recommend any of their services to anyone. Absolutely pathetic service.

This utility company is a ****. They turned off my power erroneously but then continued to charge my account even with the power being off for "electricity usage". If I was not constantly opening the app and taking screenshot, they would get away with it. The help desk is completely useless and *********** and the technician has been "on the way" for hours while I continue to be charged while the power is out.

This utility company is a ****. They turned off my power erroneously but then continued to charge my account even with the power being off for "electricity usage". If I was not constantly opening the app and taking screenshot, they would get away with it. The help desk is completely useless and *********** and the technician has been "on the way" for hours while I continue to be charged while the power is out.

Smart Power Sa Is one of the worst utility providers in South African. They never respond to emails. There what’s app response team are rude and not helpful at all. On January 11/01/23 The power to my unit was cut then I received a notification that my account was in arrears of R326. So R700. Rand was add to there account . Then an additional notification came through now the account is Arrears of R626.62 how is this logically possible. So I contacted Smart Power Sa Only to be told that I need to pay the outstanding amount before they can reconnect me. And because my bank is a different bank to there bank it may take a day for them to receive payment and there for they will not connect me until payment has clears when a POP has been sent directly to them. I have a 8 month pregnant wife at home the needs the power to run a cooling system due to the severe heat we are currently having.
