Smart Power Sa Is one of the worst utility providers in South African. They never respond to emails. There what’s app response team are rude and not helpful at all. On January 11/01/23 The power to my unit was cut then I received a notification that my account was in arrears of R326. So R700. Rand was add to there account . Then an additional notification came through now the account is Arrears of R626.62 how is this logically possible. So I contacted Smart Power Sa Only to be told that I need to pay the outstanding amount before they can reconnect me. And because my bank is a different bank to there bank it may take a day for them to receive payment and there for they will not connect me until payment has clears when a POP has been sent directly to them. I have a 8 month pregnant wife at home the needs the power to run a cooling system due to the severe heat we are currently having.
