Seems to be getting better
Whilst my previous experience with them was very bad I bought two items from them I could not get elsewhere. This time around the service was good so it will only be fair to give them a cautious thumbs up.

Terrible service
Completely unprofessional company! Delivers days after the date that was communicated. Given excuses when enquiries were made. Wrong product sent. Besides the product being incorrect, it was used and had several marks on it. Took almost a week to be refunded. The admin lady kept making excuses.

Best service evere
At first when i joined Smarthome i justed payed my installements thinking if i will need them it will be long stories. Well was i proven wrong. My fridge broke. I phoned Smarthome and Amy answered the call. So friendly and professional. She took my details. After a halh an hour technician phoned me and ask if they can now to look at my fridge. I asked if we can do it the following day when i am off duty and at home. The next day professional technicians that you xan see is qualified in what they are doing come and replace the gas and thermostat. The next day they called me to hear if my fridge is working. I will recommend Smarthome to anyone for just R145 per month and you get such professional service. Thank you so much.

Avoid placing orders
Avoid placing orders with this business. Placed an order. Long delay just says processing on the website when reviewing the status of the order. When trying to send a query using the customer service link on the website - no response. When trying to call the phone number (3 of them) on the website there is no answer. When contacting them on facebook I had one reply from someone saying they would follow up and get back to me by the end of the day however no reply and now no response on facebook either. I'm trying to just cancel the order but can't get hold of anybody at the company

Don’t do business with Smarthome Africa
Absolutely shocking service! Nobody answers telephones(3x cellphone numbers listed) and or responds to any email communication. Website states that you will receive goods within 3 days, but I have now been waiting for 11 days and still no goods (fully paid)??? Sent out three mails, one of which I requested a refund and nobody responds. BE WARNED! This is not a above board business. Website:http://smarthomeafrica.za
