Poor service
Good day I am Yonela Nomnganga who reside at Bertrams, I app**** for Nsfas early then on the 17th of December 2025 i received an sms asking to upload missing documents they sent a link to downloada declaration form and submit in 5 business working day, failure to upload my application will be declined since , of which I did as instructed. I do have my mother's death certificate i have been running around asking for Social workers to fill in my declaration where it states Social worker must fill it. I have been running around all Social workers in Johannesburg some are closed because of holidays, some are saying they were instructed by Social development not to fill Nsfas application any more. I went to Social development they refused to fill it in, claiming i must be in their system or i must go to Eastern Cape where i matriculated, my question which school is open now, why do Nsfas choose to reply to its applicants during busy December holidays? If no one can help where does that put me? I am very stressed i have been calling Nsfas 2 times, they place any caller in their queue of calls and it counts calls from 90 once you reach to be 3 after 2 hours holding they drop the call, what is that? Please help me I'm at need of studying i am not working i rely on Nsfas to approve i thank you. SRD Grant R350.00
My SRD grant payments for May 2020 and August 2020 were declined incorrectly. May 2020 they cited IRP5 of which its incorrect and I sent an appeal email, there was no response. June and July 2020 were paid correctly and August 2020 declined incorrect, as my situation has changed.

We received a tender last week from Amanda Msibi @ social development stating the following: "The National Department of Social Development invites all interested parties to respond to Requests for QUOTATIONS or PROPOSALS as indicated for the supply and delivery of the COPPERIC CUTTING DISC 125MM model no. (TMZ471C) to be used in revitalization and upgrade of all Social Centers for NORTHERN, CENTRAL, EASTERN AND SOUTHERN OPERATIONS (LIMPOPO, MPUMALANGA, NORTH WEST, GAUTENG, FREE STATE, NORTHERN CAPE, KWA-ZULU NATAL AND WESTERN CAPE.Please ensure that you return these documents before the closing date accompanied by an official Quotation from your the company which includes your profit markup and transportation costs to the state warehouse in Pretoria. Kindly confirm receipt of this Request for Quotation via email or a telephone call, Thank you. Kind regards Amanda Msibi Supply-Chain Manager Tel: ********** Fax: ********** Email: ********** We did get the quote but got suspicious with how fast the decision was made that we were awarded the tender and the process to be followed. Visited Social Department to confirm the Tender and the person we have been communicating with. Department confirmed it is a scam. We called Amanda to meet us downstairs at securities and she said she is coming. After a few minutes we called again, the voice was the same but name changed to Lerato then to Tebogo. Then we asked, are running a scam? And they said yes. Please be aware and help us crack this crooks.
