SCHALK SPIES, SOLADI AFRICA. STAY AWAY!

Our review is the 3rd negative review on Soladi Africa. Unfortunately the 1st review, 1st Feb 2019, was placed after we had paid our deposit.

Stay away from Schalk Spies, Soladi Africa. He is a smooth talker of note and actually has no idea of what he is doing. After 2 months the installation which was supposed to take 2-4 days, is still incomplete.

He employs "electricians", "plumbers" etc, probably from the street and does no supervision. Apparently the electrical team he had employed is still waiting for their payment from him. After promises, false information lies and undertakings we are still waiting for the "back-up" generator which has been paid for more than 2 months ago. We sit with a damaged roof, inefficient geyser and no solar power!

This has been a nightmare! It's people like him who gives the Solar Energy industry a bad name. As it is so difficult to get hold of Spies and because we were concerned about further damage to our roof and property we had to contract a different supplier who confirmed our worst fears.

The installation is a mess and actually dangerous! We have been had!
