Complaint
Was advertised on MixFm, told that they save you money tying into the grid, reduce electrical bill, if contacted would receive a 20% discount. Called, signed up for just under quarter of million rand, no finance taken. Company did not get Eskom permission, so Eskom billed me on just one phase R29,000.00 rand. They then came with a second hand inverter, put 12 of my 24 panels on that with a new battery. the other 12 panels do nothing as the two batteries don't talk to each other. Cut a long story short, have been promised via phone by a Mr. L Botha all kinds of nonsense. I did not get a Cert of Approval with first installation, another one of their Electricians had to do that. I have been trying to sort this out since 2020. I get all kinds of verbal promises from Mr. Botha, always blaming someone else. Contacted Jacques who sold me system, as a Zoom meeting was to be set up for 20th Feb, between Jacques and Melton (whoever that is). It never happened. Spoke to Jacques via SMS (blocked in WhatsApp) he never new about it. I require this to be fixed so all twenty four panels provide solar, The Solis system they put in at high cost to be replaced with another inverter plus new battery or they must refund all my money with interest and collect their product.

SolarAfrica Energy - Assaulted by Sales Partner Manager
The Sales Partner Manager of Solar Africa Energy, Tristen O'Brien, has a history of assaulting people for no reason, including myself and then denies it. This man competes in strongman competitions and is very large, and so feels it is his right to assault people smaller that him. I was very disappointed to see that Solar Africa Energy would employ someone like that, it is very disgusting.
