Confirmation Message *Business Name:* Solarway *Rating:* 1 out of 5 *Review:* advertised price not correct. yesterday spoke to the lady at reception she confirmed the price of growatt 5kw inverter to be R5699 inc ****le.Today sent my guy to pick up and they charged R6999 when i d spoke to the person in charge he claimed the price went up this morning.This is old stock as well.

Solarway will not honour warranty
just nowNEW-Edit Delete I purchased a property which has solar panels/inverter/batteries already installed. The system is 2 years old. The batteries have a 7 year warranty. One of the batteries is faulty and SOLARWAY SUPPIERS will not honour the warranty because the warranty is not registered under my name, but the previous owner. HOW RIDICULOUS!!! Am I first person to buy a house with a system installed ??? If I sell my 2 year old car, the warranty passes to the new owner!! WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS **** COMPANY

Solarway will not honour warranty
just nowNEW-Edit Delete I purchased a property which has solar panels/inverter/batteries already installed. The system is 2 years old. The batteries have a 7 year warranty. One of the batteries is faulty and SOLARWAY SUPPIERS will not honour the warranty because the warranty is not registered under my name, but the previous owner. HOW RIDICULOUS!!! Am I first person to buy a house with a system installed ??? If I sell my 2 year old car, the warranty passes to the new owner!! WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS **** COMPANY

Solarways NO WAYS RUN! Lip service, no actual service
Signed up with solarway suppliers as reseller, took ages. BUT I ordered from them still in good faith while they processed the application. Order products they charge 5x going rate for courier. R2000 shipping for an item that costs R500 to ship Service does not exist, just lip service and manipulation. Try calling them their phone system dumps held calls. You can never reach support or anyone. Growatt inverter failed weeks after install. Cant reach solarways. (growatt however were amazing directly) 30 days it will take for Solarways to assess the unit (assessed by growatt in 5 min directly) and repair solar ways says. Still not replied to support email Every order is pure hell with them, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. rather use candle and matches than support them. Ordered items and paid then told no stock. Ethical NO Spoke to manager who is worse than staff, they do not give a rip. Manipulates clients and tells them HOW IT WILL BE, does not listen to the customer A company who does not listen to clients is TOXIC A company that distrusts clients is even worse (they will make you sign indemnity for anything you order that its not their problem when i leaves so they can avoid honoring warranty) in my 25 years in business this is the worst support ever as a reseller

Do Not Buy From this Company, you will regret it and incur alot of frustration
My installer bought a luxpower inverter from Solarway on my behalf. The luxpower inverter has had a defect since the time I bought it. We've reported this and now they're giving my installer the run around. I will not recommend you buy from them, because the products as far as I'm concerned are considered Grey products. They refuse to take accountability and as a result I will be reporting this company to the CPA and Ombudsman. Ridwaan, I'm disappointed, and will not recommend your company unless you fix my product. I worked hard to purchase it, and to be treated like this will result in alot of negative publicity coming your way.

My installer bought a luxpower inverter from Solarway on my behalf. The luxpower inverter has had a defect since the time I bought it. We've reported this and now they're giving my installer the run around. I will not recommend you buy from them, because the products as far as I'm concerned are considered Grey products. They refuse to take accountability and as a result I will be reporting this company to the CPA and Ombudsman. Ridwaan, I'm disappointed, and will not recommend your company unless you fix my product. I worked hard to purchase it, and to be treated like this will result in alot of negative publicity coming your way.

Refuse to replace batteries they supplied with a known defect.
Ordered lithium batteries from them and they mixed in old batteries with a known defect in the batteries causing them not to be useable as indented and specified. Refuses to replace the batteries and will only send them in for repairs taking 7 to 31 days. Do not do business with them as you will not have any client service afterwards.

Pathetic and arrogant service
Never received a poorer service than this. They lied on their webpage about stock and messed my supplier around by inventing new delivery fees and in the end after much arrogance stopped communicating at all. They should be banned from the online market.
