STAY AWAY FROM SOLmate
I have never experienced such bad service. STAY AWAY from this product. I made a mistake by entering the wrong reference, I am waiting 2 weeks for them to allocate the funds. All communication is Via WhatsApp, no human contact. Their charges is so high, R40 for a real time payment where Capitec is R6, FNB R10. They have already taken R340.00 from my money that I can't seem to get back. SOLmate is a **** by using or withholding funds not belonging to them, as a ***** attorney I know this is absolutely ******* and unavoidable jail time. A case of unspecified information and theft will be opened at SAPS. A court case is unavoidable for whatever they are upto unless they can sort this mess out in 48 hours.

After reviewing the matter, we would like to clarify that the original deposit was made using an incorrect reference instead of the registered cellphone number format communicated through our payment process and support channels. As a result, the payment could not auto-allocate to the wallet and required a manual allocation process and verification checks before the funds could be linked securely to the correct profile.
Once the escalation reached our support team, the required manual allocation process was completed, and the funds were successfully allocated. We can also confirm that the matter has now been resolved.
For clarity, when the correct payment reference is used during deposits, funds allocate automatically and there is no need for manual intervention or manual allocation processes. In such cases, no manual allocation fee applies.
We would also like to clarify that transaction and RTC fees are disclosed upfront before transactions are processed, allowing customers to review and proceed accordingly.
We remain committed to assisting customers securely through our official support channels and appreciate the opportunity to resolve the matter.
