Please do not be misled by the advertised prices.
I contacted the salon owner and made a booking on 4 December 2025 for an appointment scheduled at 9:00 AM on 23 December 2025, for which I paid a R200 deposit. Upon arrival for my appointment, I was only assisted at 10:12 AM, more than an hour later.
The initial nail technician did not shape my nails correctly, resulting in an uneven finish. When I raised this concern with the owner, she stated that she could not see any issue. A second technician attempted to correct the shape but appeared inexperienced, as she mentioned that her primary role was doing eyebrows. Eventually, a third nail technician assisted in correcting the set, despite not being the one who originally started the service.
At the till, while paying the outstanding balance of R230, the owner forcefully took R300 from my hand. When my husband approached the gate to calmly seek clarification, the owner immediately began shouting and screaming before he could speak.
It was also evident that multiple clients with appointments and paid deposits were left waiting for extended periods before being assisted. The service was disorganised, with repeated requests for client names, confusion about booked services, and unprofessional treatment of staff, who were spoken to as though they were *************.
Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing due to poor service delivery, lack of professionalism, and an unacceptable attitude from management.
