I recently visited Life day spa Pretoria with three clients, expecting a relaxing and enjoyable day. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we anticipated.
Firstly, the menu was misleading. Almost every item we tried to order was unavailable—no avocado, no Caesar salad, and even the Greek salad was not an option. Each time we made a selection, we were met with, “Sorry, we don’t have that.” This was frustrating and disappointing, especially since we had chosen the spa partly for its advertised menu.
Secondly, the service was lacking in communication and hospitality. No one explained the treatments to us, and we were left unsure of what to expect. Instead of being guided or fetched for our treatments, we had to approach the staff ourselves to ask, “Are you not going to fetch us for the treatment?” This made us feel neglected and unwelcome.
Overall, the experience did not meet the standards we expected. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both the availability of menu items and the level of customer service. It was also a mission just to get the booking done phone rings and no one gets back to you.
